Ariel Morris paused slightly and nodded, "Yes, Aunt Seys, I was once Scenic Hill’s student."
Veralina Quinn’s fingers froze for a mont, watching the emotions in Ariel Morris’s eyes gradually shift, becoming sowhat conflicted and complex.
"Ariel, you t Arlo at school, right? You dated during high school, didn’t you?"
Ariel Morris nodded gently, her heart growing more and more puzzled, not knowing what Veralina Quinn actually wanted to say.
Waiting for Ariel Morris’s reply, Veralina Quinn’s hand holding the teacup visibly shook, spilling so tea.
Ariel Morris imdiately pulled out two tissues and handed them over, and Veralina Quinn pursed her lips and thanked her.
