When Nicole was brought back to Clearflower Estate by Camden, it was already past six in the afternoon. Jose Floyd was sitting on the sofa having a video eting.
Camden walked up and said respectfully, "Young Master, Miss Seys has been invited."
Jose Floyd spoke a few words in French to the people on the other side of the video before ending the call. He slowly raised his head and his gaze turned to the person he hadn’t seen for quite a while.
The once gentle brows and eyes had beco cold, with an indifferent face, standing in front of him without giving him a glance, as if he was treated as air! Jose Floyd’s brows suddenly tinted with frost.
Nicole sensed his change. Given her understanding of him, it was best to go along with him at this mont, or else she’d only suffer herself. Thinking of this, Nicole pursed her lips and spoke in a淡淡的道声, "Where is Ariel? I’m here to take care of her."
Implying she had co only to care for Ariel. Otherwise, she wouldn’t even want to approach Clearflower Estate!
Jose Floyd got up, bent his body, and walked closer.
His approach caused Nicole to instinctively step back, keeping her distance.
And her action fell into Jose Floyd’s eyes. His gaze deepened, and his lips compressed into a cold, impassive line as he brushed past Nicole’s side and walked out.
Camden made a gesture of invitation, "Miss Seys, follow the young master’s steps."
Nicole frowned, "I’m here just to care for Ariel. If Ariel doesn’t need , I’ll leave."
She didn’t want to spend even a mont with Jose Floyd, nor did she want any interaction with him.
She wasn’t as skillful as Jose Floyd and wouldn’t foolishly think of confronting him head-on. Their hatred was hard to settle anyway, no need to rush revenge at this mont.
Camden summoned a servant and asked, "Where is Miss Ariel?"
The servant replied, "Miss Ariel is upstairs reading. Do you need to call her?"
Camden shook his head, "There’s nothing you need to do; go prepare dinner."
"Alright."
The servant left, Camden coldly faced Nicole and said, "Miss Seys also knows the young master’s temper, it’d be best to go along with him, otherwise you’ll only suffer yourself."
Nicole’s cold gaze glanced at Camden, and she淡淡的道, "I’m really not the docile type, Camden. If your young master needs a woman, I can introduce you to a place where you can find ten or eight submissive, docile ones."
Camden: "... If the young master heard you say that, you know what the consequences are."
If he went to that kind of place to bring back so won for the young master, it wouldn’t be surprising if the young master废了了他!
Nicole, with a chilling arch on her brow, walked coldly on high heels in the direction of Jose Floyd.
Indeed! After being by Jose Floyd’s side for five years, she knew better than anyone how terrifying this man could be! She could only go along and not provoke him! She couldn’t afford to provoke him!

Nicole followed the direction and walked to the edge of the swimming pool, seeing Jose Floyd swimming in the water.
Nicole silently stood by, quietly holding her breath and chanting in her heart: "See no evil! He’s just an arrogant, conceited man! Don’t stoop to his level! Cold face, bad temper! Surely a long-term bachelor in the future, we must uphold the spirit of caring for animals, don’t bother with him! Caring for single people is everyone’s responsibility!"
Jose Floyd swam for more than half an hour before getting out and sitting down to rest.
