"Yeah, where else would my brother live if not in Royal View City? But lately, my brother..." Nicole swallowed her unfinished words.
Ariel Morris looked at Nicole, "Finish what you were saying, Nicole. What has your brother been busy with lately? Between us... to be honest, things between and your brother have been cold recently, but I don’t know what went wrong. We’ve only spoken three tis, each for less than five minutes. Nicole hesitated a bit, contemplating how to express her thoughts. After a while, she said, "Ariel, you’ve been staying at Clearflower Estate for a month, right? Have you been back to Royal View City?"
Ariel Morris shook her head, "No, since we’re in a cold state, I haven’t been back to Royal View City."
"Ariel, this isn’t right. You should go back to Royal View City. My brother still needs soone to take care of him."
Ariel Morris looked directly at Nicole. "So—who’s around him right now?"
"Ariel—" Nicole’s voice was full of helplessness, blaming herself for slipping earlier!
Ariel Morris’s eyes were filled with determination, "Nicole, say it."
Nicole hesitated, then softly spoke, "It’s—Susan Saxton, the Saxton Family’s heiress from City T."
"Susan—Saxton!" Ariel Morris spat out the na between clenched teeth with hatred, her eyes icy and cold.
Nicole was startled by her gaze and quickly tried to comfort her: "Maybe Era and the Saxton Enterprises are collaborating, that’s why my brother is close to Susan?"
Ariel Morris turned off the light, her voice calm, "Nicole, let’s sleep, let’s not think about these things. My brother and I, we can talk later."
Nicole sighed and murmured softly in assent.
Ariel Morris turned away from Nicole but couldn’t sleep at all. Rembering Nicole’s words, her pupils darkened.
Arlo, why did you have to get involved with Susan? Don’t you know she was the direct culprit of our child’s death?
That night, Ariel Morris slept restlessly, having a long, long nightmare.
She dreamt of her mother and grandfather looking for her, and then of her child covered in blood. She woke up feeling entirely unnerved, drenched in sweat.

When Ariel Morris and Nicole went downstairs for breakfast, they saw Jorge Saxton and Jose Floyd, along with Langdon Seal, sitting at the dining table.
The two sat down, picking up their breakfast.
Langdon Seal looked at everyone’s dining and solemnly said, "Tonight there’s a grand charity gala, and many elites will be attending."
Ariel Morris’s hand paused while holding the toast.
Many elites—that ans both the Saxton Family and Morris Family will be there.
Nicole, sitting next to Ariel Morris, sipped her milk, "This charity gala is sponsored by Era; I’ve heard my brother ntion it."
"What is Arlo Seys up to?" Jorge Saxton directed his gaze at his sister.
Ariel Morris slowly shook her head, "I haven’t been to Era for a long ti, so I really don’t know."
Langdon Seal’s eyes grew somber, "He’s invited more than half of the entertainnt circle, despite it not being purely a business occasion. It’s such a big event..."
Ariel Morris looked directly at Langdon Seal opposite her, her tone indifferent, "Brother Langdon, do you have an invitation?"
"Of course." Langdon Seal took out an invitation and placed it on the table.
Even his rival was invited; what is Arlo Seys planning?
"Who else from Halo dia is going?" Jorge Saxton asked.
Langdon Seal paused, "Most of the popular artists received invitations. Everyone wants to go, given the prestige of the Seys Family and the president of Era. Everyone wants to curry favor and flatter."
