Second floor. Arlo Seys finished talking with Callan Walkers, Dawn Sutherland, and Nico Haynes, stretched his long legs, and headed downstairs. As he reached the stairway, Susan Saxton’s voice rang out.
"Ariel Morris, I’ve put up with you for long enough!"
Arlo Seys stopped in his tracks, hearing the voice all too familiar, cold and clear.
"Susan Saxton, I should be the one saying that! You caused my grandfather’s death, swapped away, led my mother to an early grave, and seized my grandfather’s company! One by one, all these sins, you should repay with your life!"
Her words were as cold as frost, Arlo Seys stood at the second-floor stairway, looking at Ariel Morris’s face, a tangible ache in his eyes.
Why must it always be Ariel? Why burden her with such a tragic fate? He only wanted her happiness; why must fate be so cruel as to steal away her radiant smile?
Susan Saxton laughed, "What if I took everything from you? Ariel Morris, anything you have now, I’ll seize! Don’t you love Arlo Seys? Then he will be my prey!"
Ariel Morris’s gaze was icy, "You think you can snatch Arlo? Susan Saxton, where does your confidence co from? Truly shaless! Like my brother said, what’s Kylie Morris capable of raising?"
Susan Saxton, enraged, raised her hand intending to slap Ariel Morris.
On the second floor, Arlo Seys’s eyes were cold as frost, watching Susan Saxton’s raised hand, sharpness in his gaze. He lifted his foot, intending to go downstairs, when he saw Ariel Morris standing opposite Susan Saxton, grabbing Susan’s wrist, twisting it backward, showing no warmth in her eyes.
Arlo Seys stopped in his tracks.
Right—he almost forgot, his Ariel is capable, dealing with Susan Saxton isn’t a challenge.
His Ariel doesn’t need his rescue right now.
Arlo Seys retreated to the second-floor stairway, hiding himself.
Ariel Morris tightly grabbed Susan Saxton’s hand, showing no rcy, delivering a fierce slap in return, her tone icy: "Susan Saxton, do you think I let you manipulate ? Do you think I’m easily bullied?! In terms of physical skills, you can’t beat ! In terms of sche, you want to play? Fine, if I truly begin to play, it’ll be your demise! Susan Saxton, your brother can’t beat my brother, and you can’t win against ! When two siblings go to war, you and Howard Saxton are just trash!"
"Susan Saxton, let tell you, I could run you over with a car this instant! My brother would keep safe without a hitch! Of course, the reason I leave you alive, is to play with you slowly! To deal with you by my own hands!"
"Do you know why I haven’t told Arlo Seys that you pushed down the stairs, causing my child’s death, nearly killing too?"
"Susan Saxton, it’s because I want to kill you myself! I want you to repay every debt you owe !"
"Susan Saxton, every drop of blood I’ve shed, my child’s life, I want you to pay it all back!"
Ariel Morris raised her hand again, fiercely slapping Susan Saxton’s swollen face.
"Ariel Morris, you bitch!" Susan Saxton roared, her face burning with pain.
"Bitch?! Susan Saxton, even if I die, I want you to pay with your life for my child!" Ariel Morris held Susan Saxton, twisting her body, fiercely twisting her wrist.
Susan Saxton cried out in pain, her face turning pale, "Let go! Ariel Morris!!"
"You feel pain? Do you know how painful it is for that my child died? Do you know how painful it is? Painful enough to make want to give up my life to join him!! Susan Saxton, you and your group are utterly heartless! You caused my child’s death, my grandfather’s death, my mother’s death, burdened by these sins, do they rest easy in your heart? Are you even human?" Ariel Morris’s voice was hoarse, her eyes slightly red, emotions intense.
At the second-floor stairway, Arlo Seys clenched his fist, his face icy as frost.
Susan Saxton, so it was you who pushed Ariel Morris down the stairs, killing our child! Susan Saxton, you made Ariel enter ergency rooms multiple tis, nearly losing her life!
