Arlo Seys’s gaze was cold and piercing as he eyed Benny Saxton, just about to speak when Ariel Morris discreetly pressed his hand, speaking first, "Rumor has it that President Saxton abandoned his wife back then, promoted his mistress, causing his eldest son’s disappearance and leading to his wife’s demise in depression. Tsk, if President Saxton truly were my dad, I sincerely feel I wouldn’t be so lucky. It’s better to consider my dad dead over twenty years ago."
Benny Saxton was furious at Ariel Morris’s words, suddenly standing up, scolding, "Cherry was gentle and soft by nature. How could she have given birth to a daughter like you! No manners, speaking rudely to elders!"
Arlo Seys glanced at Benny Saxton, his expression cool, "President Saxton, mind your tone when speaking to my wife. My wife is the treasure of my heart. If she’s even slightly unhappy or displeased, I’m one to repay any grievances tenfold!"

The implication was clear: Benny Saxton’s visit to Era was in vain; Arlo had no intention of sparing Susan Saxton!

Arlo Seys glanced at him, speaking coldly, "President Saxton, if anything happens to a single hair on my wife’s head, I’ll hold Saxton Family accountable! Doesn’t matter if it’s your doing or not; should anything happen to my wife, neither Susan nor Howard Saxton will escape!"
Benny Saxton’s fingers froze, the light in his eyes dimming as he stared at Arlo Seys’s indifferent face, his gaze deepening.
