After downing the third glass of wine, Arlo Seys pressed his thin lips together, and a low voice slowly erged from his mouth: "I’ve been at the military hospital these past few days, holding countless discussion etings with experts..."
Arlo Seys’ heavy voice echoed in the private room, as Nico Haynes and Dawn Sutherland listened attentively with faces full of disbelief. They didn’t interrupt Arlo as he recounted everything that had happened recently.
After Arlo Seys finished speaking, he lifted the glass on the table and downed it all in one go.
Nico Haynes also drank with Arlo Seys, his voice heavy and regretful: "How could this happen? Damien Morris and his family are real bastards! They keep harming Ariel Morris! Such scum should just be executed rather than left to harm humanity!"
Dawn Sutherland said in a deep voice, "Without evidence, there’s no way to convict them! Even if Ariel’s bodily toxins serve as evidence, it’s useless without proof that it’s the Morris Family who poisoned her."

Dawn Sutherland’s gaze fell on Arlo Seys, who had a cold edge on his brow, his eyes as sharp as ice blades, showing his full force: "Old Three, I asked you to keep an eye on Scarlett Morris’ movents. Any news lately?"
Nico Haynes’ lips curled into a mocking smile, "Boss, you guessed it right! The Saxton Family is being kept busy by Jorge Saxton’s strong offensive, leaving them no ti or effort to deal with the Morris Clan. Damien Morris is really trying to think of ways to save the Morris Clan from the desperate situation we’ve put them in! Guess what that little creep Damien Morris is planning? A marriage alliance! Dawn Sutherland took a bite of food and asked, "Does Howard Saxton even think about forcing himself on her?"
Nico Haynes sneered, "That’s not certain. Hasn’t Howard Saxton forced himself on girls before? Moreover, Lydia Brooke looks good and is a rising star. Howard wanting to sleep with her is pretty normal."
"But Lydia Brooke is considered a refreshing presence in the entertainnt industry. I’ve never heard of any shady dealings with her, nor any scandals except for her announced relationship with that male star Zachary Houston. Apart from Zachary as her boyfriend, she’s basically insulated from rumors."
"In that idol drama ’Ten Years, We’re Still Good’ that she acted in with Langdon Seal, wasn’t it your Era Investnts backing it, Boss? If it were any other female artists working with Movie King Seal, wouldn’t there be so fabricated rumors for promotional hype? Even just to stir up so buzz for the work!"
"But look at Lydia Brooke, she’s worked with so many male stars, yet has she ever had any scandals?"
