Aidan Sutherland finished speaking, glanced at Elsa, whose face was ashen, and then stepped out to chase after Daisy Grant.
After leaving the Western restaurant, Daisy Grant got into her car and hit the gas, speeding away from the restaurant.
Just stepping out, Aidan Sutherland saw the red Porsche swiftly flash by. He shouted toward the person inside the car, "Daisy! Daisy! Listen to !"
Daisy Grant’s response was a calm and indifferent face, completely ignoring him without even a glance.
Daisy was feeling irritable; she opened her phone contacts and paused for a while on the page marked "Second Brother," her eyes deepening. In the end, she gave up dialing.
She continued scrolling down until she found the na "Ariel Morris" and made the call.
After arranging to et with Ariel Morris, Daisy Grant changed her route and headed towards the Quest Bar.
When Ariel Morris arrived at Quest Bar, she saw Daisy Grant sitting alone there. Daisy was holding a wine glass, her cheeks slightly red, sipping her drink. Her chestnut curls cascaded down her waist in a lazy, elegant style.
Ariel Morris sighed. For such a beautiful woman to be drinking alone in a bar, isn’t she just asking for trouble?
Ariel Morris walked over, "Daisy, why didn’t you wait for before starting to drink?"
Daisy Grant turned her head to look at Ariel Morris, who had sat down beside her, and smiled slightly. The blush on her face gave her already striking beauty a touch of allure, "Ariel, you’re here. Co on, let’s drink together!" As she spoke, she brought the glass of wine to her lips.
Ariel Morris looked at her and asked, "Bad mood?"
Daisy Grant smiled, though her eyes held a sense of loneliness and sadness. "I’m not in a bad mood! I’m about to get married, how could I be in a bad mood? Of course, I’m in a great mood!"
"Yes, it’s quite good." Ariel Morris didn’t call her out and waved to the bartender, "Give the cocktail with the lowest alcohol, with lots of juice!"
Daisy was in a bad mood, and as a friend, Ariel couldn’t just watch her drown in her sorrows, but being pregnant, she couldn’t drink alcohol, so she could only order a cocktail.
Ariel Morris sipped the cocktail, keeping Daisy Grant company as she slowly drank.
With a faint smile on her face, Daisy Grant held her wine glass and drank, her casual elegance mixed with laziness. Ariel Morris sighed lightly, "Such a beautiful person is truly a sight for sore eyes! Daisy, if I were a man, I would definitely marry you!"
Daisy Grant laughed, "If you were a man, Brother Seys wouldn’t be yours."
Ariel Morris added cheerfully, "Even among n, there can be true love! Who knows, if I were a man, Arlo might love even more! You don’t know, back at Scenic Hill High School, before Arlo and I got together, do you know who his rumored partner was?"
Daisy Grant smiled faintly, "The eldest son of the Seys Family, with both excellent character and academic performance, and good looks, he was the top male idol at Scenic Hill. Many people would have liked him, right?"
The implication being there’s definitely a lot of gossip.
Ariel Morris caught onto Daisy Grant’s guess, her eyes bright and smiling, "It was Brother Dawn! There were rumors that the two biggest male idols at Scenic Hill were secretly dating!"
"Pfft!" Daisy Grant was montarily choked by her drink, "So Ariel, you really saved Brother Seys and the second brother from that rumor! Otherwise, that gossip would be shocking! If that rumor were circulating now, how could they stand it in the business world?"
Ariel Morris laughed heartily, "In the past, I chased Arlo so many tis without him even batting an eye, always so cold and distant, making really doubt he liked n! But now I’m sure Arlo isn’t like that at all! As for Brother Dawn, I’ve always suspected he likes n, still suspecting even now!"
