Ariel Morris: "...Brother, you are truly shaless."
Langdon Seal glanced at the hospital room, "Ariel, where’s Arlo Seys? Why isn’t he here taking care of you?"
Dawn Sutherland looked at Langdon Seal and imdiately defended his brother, explaining, "Arlo has sothing to attend to, so he asked to help take care of Ariel for a bit. He’ll be back soon."
Arlo had just left, surely Langdon wouldn’t swoop in and steal his brother’s corner as soon as he, the rival, arrived?
Dawn silently criticized in his heart.
The few of them chatted and laughed in the hospital room, the atmosphere lively. Just then, the news broadcast on the open TV caught everyone’s attention.
"Alright, now for a breaking news update. We just received a call from viewers alerting us that a group of young people are flooding into Sunny Street, causing a strong public reaction. Currently, the police have dispatched officers to investigate the situation. Let’s connect with the on-site reporter to follow up on the developnt of this event."
Everyone in the hospital room turned their attention to the television.
Ariel Morris’s fingers gripped the blanket tightly and she quickly blurted out, "Brother Dawn, turn up the TV volu."
Dawn Sutherland’s expression also darkened. He nodded and imdiately increased the TV volu.
As the news anchor narrated, the television screen displayed tense standoff scenes.
On the news footage, Dawn and Ariel recognized Captain Walters and so police colleagues on the police side. They stood at the entrance, forming a barrier and maintaining order.
"The officers are here!"
Soone exclaid as several police cars stopped in the live footage. The officers got out of the cars swiftly and neatly, exuding a strong presence, with a female officer leading them!
Just as the footage reached this point, the live broadcast was suddenly cut off and moved directly to the next news story.
Although the female officer only appeared on cara for a few seconds, everyone in the hospital room recognized that familiar face.
It was Nicole!
"Nicole is handling this?.... Are these people..... Are these people under Wells Morales?!" Ariel Morris’s voice was very serious.
No wonder Arlo said there was sothing going on, no wonder he didn’t look well. It turned out capturing Wells was not as simple as getting a sentence, his underlings caused a commotion at the police station, leading to the current standoff.
Do they really have to release that scoundrel Wells and let him continue his rampage?!
"Why would they send Nicole to resolve this? If it really turns into a fight... surely Nicole would suffer!" Ariel Morris was a bit worried.
Having personally seen these people’s reckless behavior and extre thods, they don’t stop fighting until blood is drawn. Letting Nicole, a woman, negotiate with and maneuver through them is truly concerning!
Dawn Sutherland’s brow furrowed slightly, and he spoke in a deep voice, "Yesterday when we went to arrest Wells, the police were sowhat reluctant, after all, Wells hasn’t committed any major cris, and the police didn’t want to incur this trouble. It was Arlo’s strong stance that forced the police to move and arrest Wells. So, infuriating Wells has been blad on the Seys Family, and since Nicole’s last na is Seys, sending her to resolve it is probably high-level’s demand. In this era, everyone tends to protect themselves."
Ariel Morris bit her lip, "But with Nicole’s last na being Seys, wouldn’t that more easily provoke anger? If they know it’s the Seys Family’s intention to arrest Wells, if they see Nicole and know her last na is Seys, would they lose their minds and attack directly?"
As soon as Ariel finished speaking, Jose Floyd, standing at the foot of the bed, directly called a number on his phone, his voice icy to the extre: "Camden! Investigate the current movents of Wells Morales’s n over at the police station for !"
