The man’s hands were cuffed, his mouth full of blood, and he rolled on the ground in pain from the blow to his abdon by Nicole, each scream louder than the last.
"Everyone stop, or his fate will be yours!" Nicole stood in front of the man injured by her and Jose Floyd, coldly shouting at the gang mbers still stirring trouble.
No one paid attention to Nicole’s cold shout; so were even starting to tangle with the policen forming a human wall, attempting to rush into the police station.
Nicole’s eyes chilled as she touched the gun in her pocket, planning to make a move when a flying iron rod hit her right shoulder, causing her to furrow her brow in pain and bite her lips.
Nicole had just turned around, intending to draw her gun, when soone acted faster, directly grabbing her gun and aiming it coldly at the person who ambushed her.
Jose Floyd was about to pull the trigger when Nicole quickly shouted, "Jose, don’t shoot!"
The word "Jose" made Jose Floyd’s finger halt on the trigger, and he looked back at the person beside him with icy eyes.
In her urgency, Nicole regretted blurting out the intimate nickna she used when they were together as she received Jose Floyd’s gaze.
Nicole reached out and took her gun from Jose Floyd’s hand, to cover her embarrassnt, she didn’t dare look at him, so she fired a shot into the sky as a warning.
"Everyone stop!" Nicole shouted loudly.
The crisp gunshot echoed, imdiately quieting the scene; no one dared to stir anymore.
Nicole coldly scanned the crowd with an icy expression, "Behave yourselves! Look closely at where you are! This is a place of law enforcent! Causing trouble here, are you overconfident?! Regarding your boss Wells Morales, the court will make a judgnt! If you force your way into the police station and try to take Wells Morales away, that’s not helping your boss, it’s harming him! What, are you pretending to rescue Wells but actually wanting to harm him to advance yourself?"
"Don’t try to sow discord! Lady officer, our brothers don’t buy that!" soone scoffed dismissively.
Nicole coldly glanced at the speaker, about to reply, when Jose Floyd’s indifferent voice suddenly arose, "If that’s what you really think, only you know! Stirring up trouble won’t solve any problems. You’re better off giving the police station three days to properly handle the matter, that’s best for everyone."
Soone retorted instantly, "Who knows if it’s just a load of nonsense to delay! We don’t believe a word!"
Jose Floyd glanced at the person disdainfully, his brows coldly arrogant, "Blind as a bat, don’t lump with these useless people."
Nicole and the police: "..."
Nicole furrowed her brows at Jose Floyd, the aning clear: Are you not afraid of getting beaten, talking like that in front of the police station?
She could feel Captain Walters and his team’s hostile gazes from behind her!!
Jose Floyd pinched his thin lips into a line, looking at the group in front, standing erect with aloofness, exuding a commanding presence that made people dread him.
He scanned the crowd, speaking coldly, "I say three days, then three days. In three days, there will be a result satisfactory to both sides. If you’re still unhappy with how the police handle it then, tearing down this station won’t be too late; you can’t escape anyway!"
