Passing by the classroom of second-year Class Three where Arlo Seys used to study, Ariel Morris held Arlo’s hand and smiled brightly, "Arlo, rember? I used to wait for you every day after school at your classroom door just to see you. How many tis did you avoid ? I missed you so many tis!"
Arlo Seys smiled slightly, "But you never gave up and kept waiting for at the classroom door. Honestly, during that ti, seeing you almost scared . I had never t such a shaless girl."
Ariel Morris gave Arlo Seys a playful glare, "You were so aloof. If I hadn’t been relentless, soone else would be Mrs. Seys now! This was my first ti pursuing a guy, and I went after a cool demigod. I was so persistent and shaless, I even disregarded my pride! Looking back now, I had so much courage back then!"
Arlo Seys laughed, his eyes full of affection, "Do you know, when you waited for at the classroom door, rumors about us spread everywhere. Every ti I was packing to go ho, soone would tease , ’Arlo Seys, your girlfriend didn’t co to wait for you today?’, or ’Arlo Seys, where’s your Ariel Morris?’ From then on, our nas were always ntioned together, and others spoke about you with that ambiguous tone and look, as if we really had sothing going on. Your persistence caused a chain reaction."
Ariel Morris laughed heartily, "That’s exactly what I wanted! Whenever people talked about you, Arlo Seys, they’d ntion my na, and vice versa. I had to be so persistent, otherwise how could I win you over?"
"Yes, I’m really thankful my wife is so persistent. If you hadn’t been, it wouldn’t have been so quick to confirm our relationship. So, it feels great that I married Ariel Morris in this lifeti." Arlo Seys’ tone was tender, with a gentle smile on his lips.
While the two were chatting happily, the school broadcast suddenly played, "All teachers and students, please gather at the playground. The school assembly is about to start."
Ariel Morris turned her head, "The school assembly is today, Arlo."
"Did you forget? Every Tuesday afternoon is the Scenic Hill assembly day, and today happens to be Tuesday."
"Oh, I almost forgot~." Ariel Morris chuckled lightly.
The two exchanged a glance, their eyes filled with starlight.
"Arlo Seys?" A calm voice sounded.
Arlo Seys and Ariel Morris turned to see a middle-aged woman holding a textbook walking over. Before Ariel could react, Arlo had already nodded slightly in greeting, "Ms. Zhou."
"Really? Is it you? Oh my, Arlo Seys, why do you have ti to visit your alma mater? You’re such a busy man, President Seys!"
The woman called Ms. Zhou had a smiling face, her eyes filled with joy. She looked at Arlo Seys with the typical gaze teachers have for favored students, one of warm and gentle light as if holding a treasure.
Seeing the puzzled expression on the person beside him, Arlo Seys gently leaned over and reminded her, "My forr class teacher. Rember when we got into group fights, she made us stand on the playground as punishnt?"
With Arlo Seys’ reminder, Ariel Morris finally rembered. The middle-aged teacher in front of her was Arlo Seys’ forr class teacher, who once disapproved of her relationship with Arlo and warned them not to let youthful love interfere with their studies and life!
"Hello, Ms. Zhou." Ariel Morris greeted with a gentle smile.
"And this is? Arlo Seys, is this your girlfriend? Oh, she looks familiar! Wasn’t the girl you dated in Junior year nad Ariel or sothing? I always say, youthful love doesn’t end well. Only through diligent study can true success be achieved. Look, your hard work in studying has finally led to the founding of the Era enterprise!"
