Speaking of eating, Ariel Morris’s already hungry stomach grumbled even more, prompting her to step out of the car.
Arlo Seys had just closed the car door when Ariel Morris wrapped her arm around his, her voice clear and filled with irrepressible joy, a smile playing at her brows: "Arlo, I’m so, so happy today."
Arlo Seys understood why she was happy and gave a faint smile, his eyes gentle, "Hmm, what a coincidence, I’m also very happy today."
"Why are you happy today?" Ariel asked.
Arlo Seys chuckled softly, "I received the best gift in the world."
The two children were his most precious gift.
"Did the company sign a big contract?" Ariel asked with a smile.
Arlo Seys smiled and changed the subject, "Let’s go ho for dinner."
"Alright!" Ariel, holding Arlo’s hand, bead beautifully.
During dinner, Ariel had a good appetite, finishing a bowl of rice and a bowl of soup. Arlo Seys sat opposite her, watching her eat delightfully, his eyes filled with starlight.
"Is Brother Dawn’s company opening soon?" Ariel asked while picking up so food.
Arlo Seys nodded, "Yes, the company opens on Dawn’s birthday."
"What a coincidence," Ariel smiled slightly, "Arlo, does Brother Dawn need any help? When I was young, Brother Dawn helped win you over, he was our matchmaker."
Arlo Seys smiled gently, his voice warm: "Just take good care of yourself; I’ll help out with Dawn’s stuff."
"Arlo, the toxins in my body aren’t an issue now. Is there anything Brother Dawn needs? I plan to give him a gift for the company’s opening."
Arlo Seys glanced at Ariel, his gaze landing on her belly, the starlight in his eyes deepening, "What Dawn wants is sothing we can’t give."
"Is there sothing even you can’t handle or buy?" Ariel frowned.
Arlo Seys shook his head with a faint smile, "What Dawn wants, we can’t give. What he wants is for the person he loves to love him, and only she can give that."
Unfortunately, Daisy Grant is going to marry Aidan Sutherland, leaving Dawn with no hope.
"Arlo, you’ve been Brother Dawn’s good friend for so many years, don’t you know who he loves? Should we help him?"
Arlo Seys paused, pursed his lips, and said faintly, "We can’t help Dawn with this; he’s fallen in love with soone he can never be with in this lifeti."
"My Brother Dawn is so pitiful," Ariel sighed, "Daisy is pitiful too, having to marry soone she doesn’t love, Aidan Sutherland. That’s why political marriages are only about interests, no one cares if the people involved are willing. Daisy can’t marry the one she loves either, she’s in the sa boat as Dawn."
Arlo Seys peeled a shrimp for Ariel and asked softly, "You’re very close to Daisy Grant? Do you know who she likes?"
For his brother, he had to get information from his wife.
