Nicole looked at the man holding a wine glass on the sofa, his proud and straight chin, eyes deep as an abyss, his features cold, the whole person appearing aloof and noble, difficult to approach.
Nicole hesitated for a mont, pressing her lips together, then sat down on the sofa, deliberately keeping her distance from the man at the other end of the sofa, but even so, her palms were sweaty with nervousness.
"Was it you who dealt with Wells Morales’ n?...Thank you." Nicole stamred a bit nervously.
The man who was drinking placed the wine glass down, glancing at the woman keeping her distance, and spoke coldly, "Jorge asked to help his sister’s in-laws solve the trouble."
The implication was that he was just helping his brother’s sister-in-law’s family and had nothing to do with her, Nicole.
"...Still, thank you, thank you for helping our Seys Family." Nicole’s fingers were sowhat stiff.
The atmosphere was a bit awkward. Jose Floyd looked at the woman keeping her distance, a suffocating feeling and suppressed anger rising inside him. He glanced at her exquisite face, becoming increasingly irritated, so he simply grabbed a bottle and poured himself more wine, to keep from erupting in anger!
When Jose Floyd reached for the wine bottle on the coffee table, Nicole caught sight of the bandage on his hand, her eyes flickering, her fingers becoming more rigid.
As the wine slowly poured into the glass, Jose Floyd didn’t lift his eyes, directly picked up the glass intending to bring it to his lips but was suddenly blocked by a pale finger covering the edge of the glass, stopping his drinking action.
Jose Floyd’s eyes swept towards Nicole instantly, speaking coldly, "What is it?"
It was only then Nicole realized she had instinctively reached out to stop him from drinking upon seeing the bandage on his hand, feeling a bit awkward, "Aren’t we going for dinner later? Drinking so aggressively now, are you planning to save money for later?"
After saying that, Nicole realized she had found an extrely poor excuse!
She couldn’t even lie properly; it was pretty pathetic!
"If you think it’s too economical, you can treat several more als." Jose Floyd squinted slightly, responding coldly.
"...I’ll be going back to the base tomorrow."
What she ant was, just for this one al today, she didn’t plan on engaging with him more tis without reason.

Nicole sat quietly, silent.
After a long ti, Jose Floyd finished off the drink in his wine glass in one gulp, and this ti, Nicole didn’t intervene, but when she saw the bandage in his palm out of the corner of her eye, her fingers trembled uncontrollably.
After drinking, Jose Floyd’s deep gaze, with a chin arrogantly tightened into a line, spoke in a deep voice, "If you really want to thank , agree to one condition, after this condition, my favor to the Seys Family is cleared, and next ti you see , without hesitation, you can be as decisive in leaving , as you were before, just get it done."
Nicole looked at Jose Floyd, her lips moving slightly, "Tell ."
