Daisy Grant returned ho, the door was opened by the servant Donna, her parents had not yet returned.
Daisy Grant, with trembling legs, held onto the stair railing as she went upstairs.
"Miss, what’s wrong with your legs?" Donna imdiately stepped forward to support her, "Miss, why is there blood on your neck? And your forehead! Didn’t you go to Second Young Master Sutherland’s party? How co you’re like this?"
Daisy Grant’s face was sowhat pale, she gently shook her head: "Donna, for the next few days, I will not see anyone, including Aidan, just say I’m sick! Understand?"
"Okay."
Donna helped Daisy Grant into the room and fetched the dicine box for her.
"Donna, I want to take a bath, you can leave, you don’t have to worry about , go rest yourself."
"Miss, do you need to help apply dicine?"
Daisy Grant shook her head, "I can do it myself, you go ahead."
"Alright."
Donna left, Daisy Grant breathed a sigh of relief and, enduring physical discomfort, went to the bedroom.
Soaking in the bathtub, Daisy Grant rembered everything in the hotel room tonight, her gaze deepened.
The pain in her lower body still hadn’t eased, Daisy Grant cleaned her neck with a towel, wiping away the blood stains she had applied.
Indeed, she had just injured her forehead! And the blood stains on her neck were applied by herself, just to cover the marks left by that forbidden night.
Daisy Grant’s hand caressed her jade-like neck, which bore faint crimson marks.
"Daisy Grant, when did you beco so shaless?! Second Brother was drugged, not clear-headed, but you? You were sober! Do you know what you did?!"
"Daisy Grant, what are you going to do now? What if Aidan finds out on the wedding night—"
"Second Brother, if you knew the girl you always saw as your sister was so cheap and shaless, allowing you to sleep with while you were not in your right mind, would you hate ?"
"Second Brother, I couldn’t restrain myself, I acted despicably, I’m sorry, Second Brother—"
"But Second Brother, I’ve loved you for so many years, I really couldn’t stand to watch another woman be with you, so I let this misunderstanding continue, not revealing my identity in the dark hotel room!"
As Daisy Grant’s fingers stroked her neck, her gaze suddenly widened, becoming panic-stricken.
"Where’s my shell? My purple shell? It was given to by Second Brother!"
Daisy Grant hurried out of the bathtub, wrapped in a towel, exiting the bathroom.
"If the shell fell at the party site, it wouldn’t matter; if it fell in Second Brother’s room—!!"
Daisy Grant didn’t dare to continue thinking, the purple shell was given to her by Second Brother, if he finds it, will he question her?!
Filled with inner turmoil and unease, she hesitated for a long ti before dialing Dawn Sutherland’s number.
The call was quickly answered.
"Hello, Second Brother."
Daisy Grant’s voice was slightly flustered.
"Daisy, are you ho? Why aren’t you sleeping so late?"
Dawn Sutherland’s end was noisy, presumably the party hadn’t ended yet.
Daisy Grant’s heart was stirred by Dawn Sutherland’s gentle voice, a smile involuntarily spread across her lips. Rembering her missing necklace, she felt uneasy and fearful, her voice held a trace of tense anxiety: "Second Brother, I—I just wanted to ask you, after I left, did you notice anything unusual? I an... did Elsa stir up trouble?"
"No worries, everything’s fine. Daisy, how did you get hurt at the party today?"
Daisy Grant paused for over ten seconds, her voice softly replied: "I accidentally fell down the stairs, but it’s nothing serious, Second Brother, don’t worry."
"Hmm, take good care of yourself."
