Jorge Saxton walked to a window seat, gentlemanly pulled out a chair, and gestured for Lydia Brooke to sit. Lydia Brooke sat down gently, "Thank you."
As soon as Jorge Saxton sat down, a waiter imdiately approached, handing them the nu, "What would the two of you like to order?"
Jorge Saxton pushed the nu toward Lydia Brooke, "I’m not familiar with this restaurant, you go ahead!"
Lydia Brooke took the nu without hesitation, and when her fingertip landed, it happened to touch Jorge Saxton’s hand, a sensation like an electric current coursed through their bodies.
Lydia Brooke imdiately withdrew her hand, awkwardly avoiding Jorge Saxton’s gaze.

To ease the awkwardness, Lydia Brooke picked up the glass of plain water in front of her, sipping to avoid Jorge Saxton’s gaze.
"Why did you leave the Clearflower Estate without a word that day?" Jorge Saxton asked, deeply gazing at her.
"I did inform your people," she replied.
She recalled waking up that day to find him lying beside her, in an unfamiliar place, an unfamiliar room!
She hurriedly got up. Fortunately, they still had their clothes on; otherwise, she would have truly thought sothing had happened between them.
However, how did she end up with him? Wasn’t she drunk from being force-fed by Producer Forest at that ti?
