Ariel Morris sat at Clearflower Estate, holding her phone, waiting for Camden’s call, the unknown news, good or bad, filling her with panic.
The darkness before her made her feel like she was falling into an abyss, her whole being on the verge of collapse.
Arlo was injured, her brother went missing, and she was blind. Each blow was fatal, yet she had to hold on, waiting for news, waiting for information.
Footsteps reached her ears, filled with urgency. Ariel Morris turned her head to listen.
At that mont, the bodyguard Camden had arranged stood beside her, nodded slightly, and respectfully greeted the newcor: "Young Master Seal."
Is it Brother Langdon? Ariel Morris held her phone, the footsteps growing clearer and closer.
"Ariel." Langdon Seal approached.
"Brother Langdon." Hearing the familiar voice, Ariel Morris felt a sting in her nose, tears almost falling.
Langdon Seal ca closer, sat beside Ariel Morris, glanced at the bodyguard standing aside, and asked in a deep voice, "Any progress with the latest news?"
He was filming ’Fallen City’ and rushed to Clearflower Estate upon receiving Camden’s call.
In just one day, his brother and Ariel had gone through a gunfight, escaping death. Jorge fell into the sea without a trace, and there was Ariel’s eyes.....
So much had happened in just one day!
The bodyguard shook his head, "There hasn’t been any news yet."
Langdon Seal’s gaze shifted to Ariel Morris, and upon touching her pale face, he spoke in a low voice, "Ariel, you wait for the news. I’ll arrange for a doctor to examine your body and eyes right away. As soon as there’s news, I’ll tell you, don’t worry."
Ariel Morris shook her head, a bitter smile on her lips, "How can I sleep now? My brother’s life is uncertain. What else could happen to ? My eyes are already like this, a lifeti of blindness. Right now, I just want my brother to show up safely in front of , and..." Arlo to recover quickly.
Langdon Seal was about to persuade her when the phone in his pocket suddenly rang. Langdon imdiately took it out, and upon seeing Camden’s number on the caller ID, he swiftly answered.
"Camden, you say.....um, okay, I got it.....no matter how much manpower or resources it takes, keep searching until he’s found!.....At the mont, timing is crucial!"
Langdon Seal hung up, and Ariel Morris, who had been holding her breath, imdiately asked anxiously, "What happened? Brother Langdon, how’s my brother?"
Langdon Seal was silent for a mont, then spoke in a low voice, "He’s not found yet, but suddenly several more rescue boats were added by the police to help with the search. I believe there should be news soon."
"The police....." Ariel Morris murmured softly.
Langdon Seal’s eyes flickered, "If I’m guessing right, it should be the Seys Family helping out."
Ariel Morris trembled slightly as she held the phone.
