Aidan Sutherland abruptly stood up and looked at Daisy, speaking coldly, "Daisy Grant, do you realize what you’re saying?!"

Looking at Aidan, Daisy replied calmly, "I’m very aware of what I’m saying, Aidan. Let’s end this here! Our engagent has always been a political arrangent. Now that things have co to this point, there’s no need for it to continue."
Selah Sutton smirked coldly, "Well! Just great! Daisy Grant, you betrayed Aidan first, and now you’re openly calling off the engagent. Is the Grant Family aiming to break ties with the Sutherland Family? I’m making it clear today—since the Grant-Sutherland marriage didn’t succeed, there’s no need for the two families to have any dealings in the future!"

If he says he’ll give the Sutherland Family an explanation, he will! Is this situation not embarrassing enough? Do you have to shout to the whole world that our family’s future daughter-in-law is pregnant with another man’s child? Aidan being cuckolded—our family can’t afford such sha!"
Roo’s face was ominously stern the entire way ho, darker than a blackened snowy night sky, making Sophie unable to stop worrying about her daughter.
Upon returning to the Grant Family.
Roo sat on the sofa, and in his anger, he threw a teacup fiercely at his approaching daughter.
With a crashing sound, blood oozed from Daisy’s forehead as the teacup shattered into pieces on the floor.
Daisy stood there, silently enduring her father’s wrath without rebutting.
"Tomorrow morning, go to the hospital and get rid of the child! Daisy Grant, where did the upbringing and etiquette you’ve learned since childhood go? You might have no sha, but the Grant Family still has a reputation to uphold! We can’t bear the disgrace of you sleeping with a man and ending up pregnant!"
With her voice choking, Daisy shook her head, "Dad, can you let cancel the engagent with Aidan? I don’t love Aidan. Why should I marry him?"
"You don’t love Aidan?" Roo sneered, "Daisy Grant! You’ve lived in privilege since childhood, so you don’t know how hard it is to have bread! You don’t love Aidan; you love that man in your heart? Daisy Grant! Do you think if you weren’t Miss Grant, weren’t the top socialite in City C, you’d be liked and respected everywhere you go?"
