Daisy Grant looked at the bank card but didn’t reach out for it. She shook her head and said to Dawn Sutherland, "No need, brother. I’ll go out and find a job."
Dawn Sutherland’s eyes deepened as he looked into Daisy Grant’s eyes. "Do you rember what you said before? You said you didn’t want us to be strangers. Daisy, if today it were who had nothing, would you offer a helping hand?"
Daisy Grant understood his aning, reached out to take the bank card, and smiled faintly. "Thank you, brother. I’ll go upstairs first. Drive safely."
"Okay."
Dawn Sutherland watched Daisy Grant go upstairs, his eyes deepened behind her back where she couldn’t see. His gaze returned to the ring on his middle finger, and he couldn’t help but smile as he drove away.
Daisy Grant returned to her apartnt, sat on the sofa, and looked at her marriage certificate, smiling foolishly at the diamond ring on her hand.
"I married my brother. Although it’s temporary, it fulfills my dream I’ve had for a long ti."
Looking at the nas Daisy Grant and Dawn Sutherland on the marriage certificate, Daisy Grant couldn’t help but feel her emotions surge. It was like a calm lake suddenly stirred by a gentle breeze, creating ripples.

Dawn Sutherland returned to the company to find that Evalian Chapman had applied for a job and was imdiately hired by the HR departnt.
This ant Evalian Chapman had beco an employee of C.Y Company.
Dawn Sutherland called assistant Sam Brown in to ask about the situation and learned that the HR departnt had heard rumors about his engagent to Evalian Chapman, mistakenly thinking Evalian Chapman would be the Boss Lady of C.Y, so they hired her on the spot.
Sam Brown looked at his boss in confusion. "President Sutherland, isn’t the na C.Y derived from Miss Chapman’s initials? Why is it a problem for the HR departnt to hire Miss Chapman?"
"Who told you C.Y was derived from that?!" Dawn Sutherland glanced at Sam Brown, increasingly feeling his assistant was as dumb as a pig.
"Then what is it? Everyone knows C.Y is Miss Evalian Chapman’s initials and even sighs with admiration at how deeply in love President Sutherland is!"
Dawn Sutherland was too lazy to look at Sam Brown again. "Get out, don’t make wild guesses or spread rumors. As for Evalian Chapman, assign her to the lower departnt."
"..... The HR departnt arranged for Miss Chapman to be your assistant, her office is just outside yours."
For the first ti, Dawn Sutherland felt that those under him were a group of presumptuous people!

At lunchti, Sam Brown initially wanted to go in to remind Dawn Sutherland that it was ti for lunch when Evalian Chapman walked up with a smile and whispered, "I’ll go."
Sam Brown wanted to speak but held back, recalling President Sutherland’s expression from the morning, hesitating as he looked at Evalian Chapman.
Evalian Chapman ignored Sam Brown and pushed open the office door.
Inside the office, Dawn Sutherland was on the phone with Daisy Grant.
"I ordered you so takeout, um... rember to rest after eating. I’ll bring back so fruit after work. Eat more for the child’s future immunity and health..."
As Evalian Chapman just entered, these words echoed in her ears and caused her steps to halt.
Evalian Chapman’s gaze fell, seeing Dawn Sutherland standing in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, his silhouette gentle, his voice tender, as warm as a spring breeze.
Evalian Chapman’s body stiffened, quickly retreating, her steps a bit panicked.
Dawn Sutherland had always been courteous, yet such warmth directed at soone, coupled with that affectionate and caring tone, was sothing she had never seen.
Evalian Chapman retreated quickly, lowering her gaze as she headed toward the elevator. Sam Brown, dealing with work, glanced at Evalian Chapman’s figure, unsure what was happening.
What was wrong with Miss Chapman?
Evalian Chapman flagged down a taxi, giving the address to Dawn Sutherland’s apartnt.
She needed to see who the woman in Dawn Sutherland’s ho was!
