Thankfully, the photo album is encrypted, and she hasn’t opened it. Otherwise, if she had just now seen that her computer was full of her photos, she would definitely have felt uncomfortable, right?
Dawn Sutherland’s gaze shifted slightly, he closed the computer, and walked out of the study.
When Dawn walked out, he saw Daisy Grant washing vegetables in the kitchen, her gaze sowhat lost in thought. He leaned over and spoke in a gentle voice, "Let do it."
Daisy was still reminiscing about her sneaky actions earlier, feeling a bit guilty and absent-minded. Dawn’s voice pulled her thoughts back. Daisy nodded, "Second Brother... can I borrow your phone for a mont? My phone’s out of battery, and I need to call Ariel."
As she spoke, Daisy didn’t dare to lift her gaze, her voice tinged with tension and guilt.
Dawn handed the phone over without suspicion, "The phone password is also my birthday."
"Okay." Daisy, feeling guilty, lowered her head and took the phone.
Daisy glanced at Dawn busy in the kitchen, her eyes flickering, and returned to the bedroom.
In the bedroom, Daisy felt guilty and anxious. Her fingers quickly tapped open Dawn’s phone.
There weren’t many pictures in Dawn’s album. Daisy, looking at those few pictures, couldn’t decipher any information—all were related to C.Y. Among them was a picture of the C.Y logo. Daisy, looking at C.Y, returned to the phone’s main screen. As expected, Second Brother used C.Y as his background.
Back when the na C.Y was chosen, everyone speculated it was Evalian Chapman’s initials. Now, Daisy couldn’t help but feel a surge of emotion.
"C.Y may not be Evalian; maybe it’s the person in Second Brother’s heart? Who could C.Y be?"
As Daisy pondered, her finger accidentally tapped the phone’s notes. She intended to exit but was drawn in by the content recorded there.
It wasn’t a record of work matters, but rather, narratives written by Second Brother...
"I wanted to write you a letter, but thinking about it, by the ti it reaches you it’ll be a while, so a text would be quicker. Yet when I type out what I want to say on the phone, I don’t have the courage to press send."
"I have so much I want to tell you. I want to say that spring has arrived, won’t you co see it? But in the end, I still didn’t send it."
Daisy’s fingers slid downward, each note carrying a recorded date. Daisy’s heart felt a bit sour; these were ssages Second Brother wished to tell that girl, but lacked the courage to send.
Hundreds of text ssages, each dated, and Daisy’s fingers trembled slightly, slowly scrolling through the phone.
"So, Second Brother loves the person in his heart so deeply, all these unsent ssages were written for her."
She thought she had harbored a crush on Second Brother long enough, for over ten years, but seeing the ssages Second Brother had saved, she realized his unspeakable love was deeper and more profound than hers.
The phone was filled with things to say to her, but lacked the courage to send, only stored in his phone’s notes. This kind of heartache made her feel a pang for Second Brother.
"Who could be so lucky to catch your eye, reside in your mind and heart, becoming irreplaceable."
Daisy gave a bitter smile.
Just then, a knock on the door interrupted her thoughts, and Dawn’s voice ca from outside, "Daisy, co out to eat."
"Okay." Daisy responded, gathering her emotions and returning to the phone’s main screen.
Daisy’s gaze fell on the diamond ring on her middle finger, and she murmured softly, biting her lip, "Why can’t the person in your heart be ?"
