Daisy Grant sat in front of the computer, murmuring to herself in a daze.
Evalian Chapman, who had returned to the office after lunch, initially intended to deliver so docunts to Dawn Sutherland’s office. As she arrived at the door, she saw Daisy Grant sitting in front of Dawn’s desk, staring blankly at his computer, looking a bit off.
Evalian’s eyes flickered, and she quietly took out her phone to record a video before sneaking away and returning to her own workspace.
Daisy Grant tried inputting many homophones of the initials C.Y but couldn’t open the docunt correctly. She sighed, estimating her colleagues would soon return from lunch, not daring to delay any longer, and promptly took the files and left.
As Daisy left, she ran into a cold-eyed Evalian. Since she had just been on Dawn’s computer, Daisy felt a bit guilty and lowered her gaze slightly, returning to her seat.
To Evalian, Daisy’s avoidance was suspicious, as if there was sothing fishy, making her view of Daisy’s back manifest an even colder attitude.
Daisy Grant, marrying Dawn Sutherland with no good intention! Aren’t you ashad or uneasy about snatching soone else’s happiness?!

Dawn ca back quickly, having spent just a little over ten minutes, but Sam Brown did not return with him.
Daisy glanced at Dawn walking directly to his office; his tall figure, bright and artistic features, appeared as outstanding as the scenery after a rain. Daisy stared a bit lost, only to pull herself together and shift her focus back to her computer when Dawn disappeared into his office.
Sam Brown returned with sothing, heading straight to Daisy.
"Assistant Grant,"
Daisy looked up, "Special Assistant Brown, what’s up?"
Sam handed a box of dicine to Daisy, saying in a deep voice, "President Sutherland went down to eat earlier, but his stomach didn’t feel well, so he hardly ate anything before coming back. I just went to buy him so stomach dicine and brought back so food. Could you take them to him for ? I have a lot to deal with."
Upon hearing Dawn wasn’t feeling well, Daisy felt a pang in her heart. She reached out to take the dicine and the food, nodding, "Okay, I’ll check on President Sutherland."
Daisy carried the items, knocked on the office door, and pushed it open gently after receiving permission to enter.
Sam watched Daisy go in, a smile rising in his eyes.
Assistant Grant, for my raise and year-end bonus, I have no choice but to sell you out. Don’t worry, our President is a good man!
Sam cheerfully returned to his seat to handle his work, as if a promising future was waving at him, motivating him intensely.
Entering the office, Daisy shut the door and walked in, seeing Dawn dealing with tasks while furrowing his brows, his complexion sowhat pale.
Is it a stomachache—
Daisy’s eyes flickered, placing the food on the coffee table, and then walked toward Dawn with a cup of warm water.
"Second brother." Daisy handed the water to Dawn, her voice soft.
Dawn, whose eyes were lowered in pain from his stomachache, raised them at the familiar voice, "Why did you co in?"
The pain possibly got worse, and as Dawn finished speaking, his brows furrowed intensely.
"Second brother!" Daisy squatted slightly beside Dawn, her fingers subconsciously covering his stomach, her gaze filled with urgency and concern, "Do you want to go to the hospital?"
Daisy’s fingers were soft, lightly covering Dawn’s stomach. With her breath so close, Dawn’s whole body tightened...
