Arlo Seys made a soft sound, his deep, pleasant voice slowly echoing: "It’s raining, why are you still out here jogging?"
Ariel Morris wiped the rain from her face, her eyes full of spirit, a gentle smile on her lips, her voice lodious and captivating: "I got punished and had to run."
Arlo Seys noticed she was drenched, his expression unchanged and indifferent, yet he subtly angled the umbrella towards her, "Did you make a mistake?"
Ariel Morris nodded with a bit of embarrassnt, "The teacher wanted to confiscate my things, and I refused. After a few words of retort, I was punished with running. But it’s better than having my things taken away!"
As Ariel Morris finished speaking, she seed to rember sothing. She extended her hand towards Arlo Seys, palm open, and a bracelet made of a black cord with a white dice appeared in her palm.
"Arlo Seys, this is for you." Ariel Morris’ voice carried a hint of shy sweetness, her smile blooming beautifully.
Arlo Seys reached out to take the bracelet, his gaze drawn to the pendant attached to it.
A dice-shaped white Bodhi Seed, with a hollow center containing a smooth, attractive red bean. The black cord was woven into a chain of countless small knots, with the pendant placed at the center.
Arlo Seys examined the bracelet, finding it very unique, especially the dice and red bean in the middle, which were particularly eye-catching and rare.
"What is this?"
Ariel Morris gave a gentle smile, "This is a Bodhi Seed polished into an exquisite dice, and in the center is a red bean. I wove this cord into a thousand knots." She looked at him, speaking slowly and clearly: "Exquisite dice set with red beans, do you know this lovesickness?"
Arlo Seys held the bracelet and felt a special weight, even his voice was a bit heavy: "Exquisite dice set with red beans, do you know this lovesickness? It’s from Poet Grant’s [Reese Greenwood]. Do you know what it ans to give this?"
Ariel Morris nodded gently, saying seriously: "I know. Arlo Seys, it’s just that you don’t." Ariel Morris paused, her gaze falling on the bracelet in Arlo Seys’ hand, "This cord, I wove it with a thousand knots. For every knot I tied, I softly whispered, Arlo Seys, I like you. So say, once a knot is tied a thousand tis, it can’t be undone for a lifeti. Arlo Seys, I want you to rember Ariel Morris, even if you ultimately don’t accept my feelings, I hope that years from now when you look back on your youthful days, you’ll rember there was once a girl nad Ariel Morris who liked you very, very much."
"For every knot on this bracelet, it’s how many tis I’ve said I like you. Arlo Seys----I like you."
"A thousand knots bind tightly, impossible to untie in a lifeti. I hope you’ll be trapped by this web of knots. More than that, I hope, no matter how ti passes, I, Ariel Morris, will never forget Arlo Seys!"
"I, Ariel Morris, will never forget Arlo Seys for the rest of my life!"
Arlo Seys placed the hand holding the umbrella handle on Ariel Morris’ head, tightening his grip slightly, his face still tense and unreadable.
He gazed at the girl before him, her eyes bright and full of determination that struck deep within his heart, her smile warm, her features pure and beautiful.
In the mont of Arlo Seys’ daze, Ariel Morris stood on tiptoe and softly leaned in to his thin lips....
The sound of rain pattered around them, warm breaths hitting his face, her soft, moist lips pressed gently against his. Arlo Seys only felt a fresh scent reach his nose, which lingered in his mind, impossible to erase.
Arlo Seys stood in the rain, lost to his surroundings, a strange feeling slowly erging from the depths of his heart, then with a bang, blossoming into a brilliant flower, dazzling and uncontrollable.
In the school building corridor.
Dawn Sutherland and Nico Haynes looked on in surprise at the scene before them.
"Wow... Ariel Morris kissed Arlo?!"
