The atmosphere turned awkward in an instant.
But he still had that look on his face, as if to say, "Oh my, we can take our ti finding out back at ho."
"..." Di Jinxuan’s face flushed red, and she couldn’t help but angrily retort, "What do you an by ’found out’? I was clearly pinching!"
"Oh, my wife, don’t be so blunt," Nangong Jin said brazenly, and he even managed to flop into her arms.
Damn it, Di Jinxuan, with one hand on her forehead, was completely helpless, ohhh, she really wanted to drag him out and give him a beating!
Nangong Jin amused everyone to laughter, and Gu Qibao covered her face, "Emma, Brother Jin, can’t you be more shaless? Don’t moan so sensually."
She felt like he had turned her bones to jelly.
Everyone laughed uproariously, leaving Di Jinxuan with a resigned expression.
She couldn’t help but shrug her shoulders, "Can you get up now?"
Acting like he was dead, he still shalessly lay on top of her.
Upon hearing this, Nangong Jin sat up, propping his head up, "I’m a bit drunk. You all carry on, keep going."
After saying that, he plopped his head on the table and stubbornly refused to get up again.
If the big brother can pretend to be drunk, so can he!
Just looking at Di Xiaxia’s social dia update, it was clear that big brother had taken full advantage during his drunken state, cough cough.
Perfect opportunity to learn a trick or two.
The table continued to eat and drink. Di Xiaxia blinked curiously, "Is Brother Jin really that drunk? Isn’t he known for being able to hold his liquor?"
"He drank a lot today." Alvin joined in, "He should be quite drunk by now."
"Really?" Di Xiaxia raised an eyebrow since she wasn’t around in the afternoon; she didn’t know.
"Yeah." Di Mingchen nodded, "He did drink quite a bit, kept losing gas in the afternoon, and then drank more with our mothers. He might really be over the limit."
"Oh." Di Xiaxia nodded, "Then he probably is truly drunk?"
"I guess so." Everyone nodded in agreent, indicating that Nangong Jin had indeed drunk quite a bit.
Nangong Jin was internally delighted, having passed the first hurdle of playing drunk with flying colors. Yay yay yay, and now, hmph.
He could successfully ’tofu-dive’ after the gathering, damn it, it wasn’t easy at all.
To get a taste of ’tofu’, he had to wrack his brains, drank a bellyful of liquor, just for a chance to indulge, truly sad and lantable.
Nangong Jin was pitifully sprawled on the table, and while everyone else continued on rrily, he had been lying there for quite a while.
He was starting to feel annoyed, damn it, couldn’t they see it was getting late?
Shouldn’t they be heading ho to sleep?
Didn’t Di Santiao think that your ’Calyx Boy’ might be tired?
Isn’t it ti to call it a night?
Can’t you sympathize with the feelings of soone pretending to be drunk, waiting for a chance to ’tofu-dive’?
Perhaps his heartfelt plea had a telepathic effect on Di Santiao, as just when he felt extrely frustrated, he finally heard Di Mingjue announce, "Alright, it’s getting late, and we’ve all had enough. It’s ti to break it up."
Indeed, it was getting late, and they had indulged enough, partied hard all day. Everyone nodded in agreent, "Let’s go ho."
As the younger generation wrapped up, so did the elders.
Nangong Jin laid his head on the table, feeling justifiably drunk, while secretly keeping his eyes open, unwittingly spying on Di Jinxuan’s legs to see if she would leave.
Thankfully, she didn’t leave.
Di Mingjue, Gu Qibao, Fang Hao, Di Yan, and the others all stood up to see off the guests, as they were leaving too, they left together.
Di Jinxuan glanced at Nangong Jin, who was still sprawled on the table, and then at the crowd that had mostly dispersed, feeling a sudden urgency, she quickly called out, "Nangong Ran, aren’t you going to take care of your third brother?"
