Gu Qibao sat on the edge of the bed, diligently applying disinfectant on Di Mingjue’s wounds, blowing lightly on them from ti to ti, her heart aching from the sight.
His normally beautiful hands now looked very battered.

"I’ll co over after I’ve finished applying the dicine." Gu Qibao bashfully moved closer to the bed and took his hand.
Just then, he pulled her onto the bed.

Imdiately, Gu Qibao jumped up and answered.
Looking at the incoming call, it was unexpectedly from Bo Chenghe.

For so unknown reason, she felt awkward.
What was she supposed to say?
Bo Chenghe also remained silent for a while, seemingly embarrassed.
After taking a mont to think, Gu Qibao quickly said, "Hehe, don’t worry, I will find a chance to talk to the Duke and try to get him to release you."
While speaking, Gu Qibao instinctively glanced at Di Mingjue. He was lying leisurely on the bed with a blank expression.
Looking away, Gu Qibao parted the curtains.
"It’s okay." Bo Chenghe’s voice ca from the other end of the line, "Qibao, I didn’t call to ask you to release . I was actually worried... is the Duke okay?"
