The overflowing girlish heart had just been crushed hard by soone and then shattered into powder.

"I’ve always been like this." Nangong Ran spoke suddenly after a mont of silence, struggling to hold back her tears.

"I am just like this." She repeated, "Since you hate so much, why are you pinning down? Get up!"

Di Mingchen was slightly stunned; she said he hated her?

No, it didn’t seem like that.

"I didn’t..."

"Get up."

Nangong Ran pushed him hard, "If you don’t get up, I’ll call it harassnt!"

She glared at him, seemingly with hatred.

Di Mingchen eventually let her go, and Nangong Ran sat up, rustling as she got out of bed.

"Nangong Ran..." Di Mingchen sat on the bed watching her, "What I said didn’t an what you think, I was just..."

"I know that’s not what you ant." Nangong Ran interrupted him, picking up the clothes beside her and looking back at him with a forced smile, "Brother, you’re right. I’m pretty shaless."

How could a delinquent girl like deserve soone as noble as you, the commander?

She didn’t say this out loud.

"That’s not what I ant!" Di Mingchen jumped off the bed as Nangong Ran took her clothes to the bathroom and shut the door.

Di Mingchen stood stunned by the bedside, suddenly feeling a bit defeated. He really didn’t an to look down on her.

When he scolded her, he actually thought she was too naive, too straightforward, often putting herself in very dangerous situations and becoming very passive as a result.

He just wished she could have so kind of self-protection awareness more often.

Perhaps he was inarticulate or perhaps a bit angry, or maybe it was because of the alcohol. He couldn’t figure it out himself.

But it seed like his scolding really saddened her. He had never seen her like this; many tis, she was playful and carefree, appearing very happy.

But she seed genuinely hurt just now.

For a mont, he didn’t know what to do. Maybe he was a bit out of control earlier, considering how young she was.

So young, sotis unable to distinguish many things. He too had been young and reckless; perhaps this was the generation gap.

Seeing that she had been in the bathroom for a long ti without coming out, Di Mingchen beca a bit anxious.

"Nangong Ran!" He rushed to the bathroom door and knocked urgently, "Nangong Ran, co out!"

Nangong Ran, inside the bathroom, stared foolishly at her own reflection, suddenly feeling really foolish herself.

Di Mingchen was good because he was truly good, not because of her, so how could his goodness belong to her?

Maybe she was too naive, and she admitted that Di Mingchen’s scolding was justified; many tis she was too straightforward, thus putting herself in a passive position.

Di Mingchen’s voice sounded outside the door, but Nangong Ran didn’t respond; she just silently put on her clothes and then opened the door.

Seeing she was dressed properly, Di Mingchen frowned, "What are you going to do?"

Nangong Ran looked at him, lifted a smile, and tidied her hair, "I’m going ho."

Di Mingchen froze, wanting to grab her hand, but she avoided him.

"Brother, you’re right." Nangong Ran looked at him, still smiling, without any sign of anger, slowly said, "Thank you for your criticism and guidance. My parents and Third Brother often say the sa to . I know I’m wrong, so I’m heading ho first. My mom said girls should be reserved, can’t be shaless, and it’s inappropriate for us to sleep together like this. I’m sorry."

After finishing her words, Nangong Ran turned and left.
