But as soon as she embraced him, he pushed her away.
Tears stread down Di Xiaxia’s face, while Di Mingjue remained extrely indifferent.
With his brows furrowed, Mingjue spoke coldly, "Mingzhe is getting married now. Xiaxia, this isn’t appropriate. Don’t do it again or else don’t bla for disowning you as a sister."
Di Xiaxia’s heart clenched in pain, but she forced a smile. This was her Third Brother, an honourable man.
Di Xiaxia responded, "I understand, Third Brother. It’ll never happen again, I promise."
"Mm." Di Mingjue nodded, "Go in."
Di Xiaxia turned her back to him, pretending not to care and waved her hand, "You go in first. I’ll co in a bit later."
Di Mingjue turned and walked away without hesitation.
Di Xiaxia turned her head to watch his retreating figure that didn’t show a shred of reluctance. She asked herself, did it hurt? Of course it hurt!
She had loved Di Mingjue for twenty years. How many twenty years does one have in a lifeti?
Even when Di Mingjue was dating Bo Chengxin, she didn’t feel this much hurt because she knew that Third Brother did not like Bo Chengxin.

He was holding a glass of red wine, silently watching her.
Di Xiaxia quickly dried her tears and walked over, respectfully saying, "Big Brother."
"Mm." Di Mingchen pulled his gaze away and gave a light hum in response.
Yet, he didn’t leave.
Di Xiaxia was sowhat afraid of Di Mingzhe. Seeing him stance silent and staring at her made her even more fearful.
She nodded hastily and said, "Big Brother, I’m going in."
She eager to leave, but suddenly he grab hold of her wrist.
Di Xiaxia turned to see Di Mingzhe’s handso face. His brows were beautifully drawn, his eyes sparkled like stars, his features were perfect, and his thin lips were bewitching. Big Brother’s looks were never inferior to Third Brother’s.
The three brothers each had their own advantages.
However, Di Mingzhe had always been calm, never disturbed by anything. This calmness of his often felt sowhat sinister, making Di Xiaxia instinctively fear him, fear the way he watched her with such eyes.
And now, his eyes seed to carry a trace of anger, making a Di Xiaxia feel inexplicably more fearful.
"Big Brother, is there sothing you need?" Di Xiaxia asked cautiously.
"No." Di Mingzhe’s face remained calm. He let go her wrist and left.
Di Mingjue returned to the lobby. He looked around but couldn’t find Gu Qibao. He then went up to Qin Qian to ask.
Qin Qian replied with a suspiciously raised eyebrow, "Little Qibao went out with Nangong Ran just monts ago. I think they went to the backyard."
