Just then, Nangong Ran’s phone rang. When she picked it up, it was Gu Qibao calling, and Nangong Ran instantly felt deflated.

The phone kept ringing, and Di Mingchen glanced back, "Who’s calling?"

Nangong Ran almost burst into laughter, indeed there were tears, but it was from being scared!
Nangong Ran seriously glanced at Di Mingchen, then decisively admitted her ’mistake’, "Ahem, well, I couldn’t make it, almost burned down the kitchen."

Gu Qibao laughed, "Have you two eaten yet?"

"Aweso." Gu Qibao laughed, "My second brother can handle anything, he’s simply amazing!"
After gossiping with Gu Qibao for a while, Nangong Ran hung up the phone, only to have Li Hui call imdiately after.
Nangong Ran answered, and Li Hui excitedly asked, "How’s it going, little henchman? Is the food ready? Did your Mingchen eat?"
Nangong Ran covered her face, why was there so much attention on her cooking?!
"Nope." Nangong Ran decisively and calmly replied, "Burned a kitchen, now Di Mingchen is cooking for ."

"Of course I will!" Nangong Ran chuckled, walked over, hugged Di Mingchen’s waist, rested her face against his back, and couldn’t help closing her eyes comfortably, "My husband is amazing."
"Hey, you little brat." Li Hui bared her teeth, "Daring to flaunt your love life in front of your mother!"

Li Hui hung up the phone.
Di Mingchen’s hands had long since stopped due to Nangong Ran’s actions.
