All sorts of things were strewn about — it couldn’t have been more conspicuous.
Di Mingzhe raised an eyebrow coolly, "Di Xiaxia."
Di Xiaxia, who was in the middle of a spirited dance, suddenly froze when she heard this voice. She slowly turned around, looking as if she’d seen a ghost.
In a rush, she sprung up onto the bed, "Ah, um, big brother, when did you co in?"
Darn, didn’t he have to knock on her door?
"Hello, big brother." Di Jinxuan, lying leisurely on the bed, greeted Di Mingzhe. She also watched Di Xiaxia as she hastily cleaned up her clothes.
Di Mingzhe furrowed his brow, pointing at Di Xiaxia, "Co to my room, I have sothing to say to you."
"Oh." Di Xiaxia stuffed her clothes into the cabinet and nodded.
Once Di Mingzhe was gone, Di Xiaxia turned to Di Jinxuan, "What do you think big brother wants from ?"
"How should I know," Di Jinxuan pouted, "I’m not his belly’s worm. Go on, don’t distract from my TV show."
Di Xiaxia: "..."
Di Xiaxia finally entered Di Mingzhe’s room after so dawdling. Seeing the immaculately organized room of Di Mingzhe, she imdiately felt embarrassed.
At this point, Di Mingzhe was sitting on the couch reading sothing, his posture upright and serious. He didn’t even bother to glance her way when she ca in.
It was as though he didn’t notice her entrance at all.
Di Xiaxia wore a pained expression and hesitated for a while before finally asking, "Big, big brother, you called ?"
"Hmm."
Di Mingzhe closed off the material in his hand, finally lifting his head to glance at her. Then he proceeded to walk towards her, his superbly cut suit exuding authority. His tone was light, yet commanding, "Accompany to our third brother’s house."
But why at this hour, nearly 11 pm? What could we possibly do at third brother’s place?
"Apologize to your sister-in-law." Di Mingzhe stared at her quietly.
Di Xiaxia’s face was full of confusion, "Why? I didn’t do anything to Gu Qibao, why should I apologize to her?"
Di Mingzhe didn’t answer, only gazing at her, his perfect features and deanor as proud as a prince from a classical myth. After a while, he said only two words: "Is that so?"
Di Xiaxia shivered. Just these two words had devastatingly shattered her.
But why should she apologize? The third brother didn’t ask her to apologize!
Di Mingzhe kept looking at her, not saying a word. However, even without speaking, he still managed to exude an intimidating presence.
Di Xiaxia’s heart tightened, and finally, she lowered her head, "Alright, I get it."
"Let’s go." Di Mingzhe led the way.
Di Xiaxia followed him, feeling despondent. She gazed at his tall figure in front of her, feeling like a prisoner.
Damn! When did big brother beco so nosy? He even started ddling in third brother’s matters!
It was late at night, and Di Xiaxia obediently followed Di Mingzhe out of the house, not uttering a word.
When it was ti to get in the car, she thought Di Mingzhe was going to sit in the front seat, but he instead entered the backseat.
Seeing her still in a daze, Di Mingzhe frowned, "Aren’t you coming?"
"Oh." Di Xiaxia snapped out of it and hurriedly followed him into the backseat.
Once in the car, she sat perfectly straight, not daring to look around. Her hands were neatly placed on her lap, her whole deanor as elegant and graceful as an aristocratic lady.
