Everyone crowded forward. Nangong Jin turned to the doctor and politely said, "Thank you for your hard work. Where’s my wife?"
"She’s still being stitched up, should be done soon." The doctor smiled and nodded, extending a hand, "Congratulations Jin Shao."
"Thank you." Nangong Jin shook the doctor’s hand.
The little baby needed to be taken for a bath first, so everyone followed along, Yiru, Yimo, and Wushuang clamoring to see their little brother, adding to the liveliness of the scene.
Nangong Jin didn’t go; he stood quietly at the operating room door waiting for Di Jinxuan.
About five minutes later, Di Jinxuan was wheeled out. She looked quite energetic and alert, with a slight blush on her cheeks.
"Wife." Nangong Jin hurriedly stepped forward, grabbing her hand, and gently kissed her forehead, softly saying, "Thank you for your hard work, my dear wife."
"It wasn’t hard." Di Jinxuan smiled warmly, filled with comfort; all the hardship lted into happiness upon seeing the child.
