Nangong Lin flushed red, her head feeling even heavier. She couldn’t help but struggle, "Anyway, I’m telling you, if you have any sches, I’ll make sure you pay for it."
"Hmph." Alvin snorted, his temper sparked by her as well. His eyes darkened, and he applied a bit more pressure to her chin, "I’m telling you, Nangong Lin, I’m not the person you think I am. But you seem to be enjoying this, so I won’t mind stirring things up once more, as you wish!"
Alvin said this out of frustration with Nangong Lin. He really had let it go, but he never expected that in her mind, he was such a scoundrel.
After saying that, Alvin released Nangong Lin, and with a deliberate provocation, added, "Let’s see what you can do to !"
Nangong Lin was instantly enraged, unable to hold back as she rolled up her sleeves, wanting to punch Alvin. But after assessing the height and body size difference, Nangong Lin decisively gave up.

Just as he was about to turn back to his room, Nangong Lin suddenly fell to the ground with a thud, face planting into the dirt.

Prone on the ground, Nangong Lin felt utterly embarrassed. Just monts ago, she was acting all big and intimidating, but now she had fallen flat on her face. She must be utterly humiliated!
What a pitiful and comical situation!
She tried to get up but realized she couldn’t move. A piercing pain shot through her ankle.

Nangong Lin was on the verge of tears from both pain and embarrassnt. She hurriedly wanted to reach for her phone to call her assistant, but unfortunately, she left her phone in the room charging and hadn’t brought it with her.
