She looked sowhat flustered. Though clearly a beautiful and delicate woman, at this mont, she appeared like a child who had done sothing wrong.
To be honest, seeing Di Xiaxia again didn’t bother Gu Qibao much, and seeing her like this made her even less upset.
She was not one to find pleasure in making others uncomfortable.
Gu Qibao nodded and gave her a sweet smile in response.
"Co sit over here." The graceful voice of Di Mingzhe suddenly rang out.
Di Xiaxia turned her head out of reflex, thinking Di Mingzhe was calling for Di Mingjue and Gu Qibao. She didn’t expect he was looking at her.
Di Xiaxia looked a bit puzzled, pointed to herself with wide eyes, and asked in disbelief, "?"
"Yes." Di Mingzhe nodded.
Suddenly, Di Xiaxia felt like everything was spinning. She had an ominous premonition that so disaster was about to befall her, uncertain about how her brother might deal with her!
Whimpering, she thought, ’I’m sorry, big brother, I’ll apologize right away, right away!’
Under the imposing presence of Di Mingzhe, Di Xiaxia obediently walked over and carefully sat down next to him with visible gaps between them.
Di Mingzhe didn’t seem to mind and turned his attention to Di Mingjue, "Third brother, Xiaoqi, you two co over here."
Gu Qibao blinked, ’Big brother looks so stern. Is he going to give us a political lesson?’
Di Mingjue raised his eyebrows in disapproval and gave Di Mingzhe a sideways glare, "Big brother, you better be serious."
Di Mingzhe just gave a carefree smirk in response, not saying a word.
Feeling frustrated, Di Mingjue had no choice but to walk over with Gu Qibao and sit down.
"Alright, what is it?" Di Mingjue sat with one leg lounging over the other, appearing completely aloof.
Gu Qibao was incredibly curious by now, seeing Di Xiaxia sitting stiffly next to Di Mingzhe, trying hard not to breathe. Where had her previous arrogance gone?
What she was more puzzled about was why Di Mingzhe had brought Di Xiaxia over late at night.
"Have you and Xiaoqi made peace?" Di Mingzhe suddenly asked, like it was so kind of important eting.
Di Mingjue nodded with a look of scorn, as if to say, ’Do I even need to ntion it.’
"Good." Di Mingzhe nodded and turned his eyes toward Di Xiaxia, "Didn’t you say you had sothing to say to Gu Xiaoqi?"
Di Xiaxia was taken aback, quickly nodding, "Yes."
"Alright," Di Mingzhe said, "Go upstairs and talk with her. I’ll wait for you."
"Alright." Di Xiaxia stood up, feeling a sudden surge of gratitude. Her big brother was actually helping her face the situation head-on.
The truth is, if she didn’t face it, if she didn’t clarify things, there might always be a knot in her heart, and she’d never have the courage to face Gu Qibao and Di Mingjue again.
Gu Qibao was stunned. Di Xiaxia wanted to talk to her?
About what?
Before she could process what was happening, Di Xiaxia was already by her side, asking very politely, "Sister-in-law, I need to talk with you. Can we go upstairs?"
The two of them went upstairs, and Gu Qibao, still sowhat confused, couldn’t help but ask, "What do you want to talk about?"

But then she thought, letting Di Xiaxia see it might not necessarily be a bad thing. So, with a wicked grin, Gu Qibao closed the door behind them and said, "Say whatever you want to say."
