Nangong Lin hopped into the car with the packed breakfast, feeling quite good, and said to Alvin, "Drive."
"Okay." Alvin nodded, seeing her in such high spirits, he couldn’t help but feel good too. The corners of his lips lifted naturally, even showing a tenderness he never had before.
Nangong Lin started organizing her bag.
Alvin couldn’t help his curiosity and asked, "What did you bring?"
"Sothing good!" Nangong Lin glanced at him with a smile, "You haven’t had breakfast, right?"
Alvin was slightly stunned.
Nangong Lin opened the food bag, "Ta-da! Look what I brought for you?"
"What did you bring?" Alvin’s smile deepened. Seeing the steaming stuff in the bag, he already knew it was breakfast.
Nangong Lin actually brought him breakfast, which was really a surprise, too surprising!
Although he had already eaten in the morning, he didn’t mind eating again; he’d eat as much as given!
"Soy milk and fried dough sticks, have you had them before?" Nangong Lin asked as she unwrapped the package.
"I’ve had soy milk," Alvin answered honestly, "but not fried dough sticks."
Every ti he ca to the Empire, it was always in a rush, he really didn’t have much ti to savor the Empire’s delicacies.
"What on earth is a fried dough stick?" Alvin curiously peeked into the bag,
Nangong Lin pinched the fried dough stick with two fingers, "Look, this is a fried dough stick."
"It slls so good." Alvin’s eyes instantly brightened, like a child, "But it kind of looks like bread."
"Bread, bread, all you know is bread." Nangong Lin rolled her eyes at him and stuffed it directly into his mouth, quite roughly, "Hurry up and eat, it’ll be bad if it gets cold."
The taste of the fried dough stick in his mouth was really nice, though a bit weird, having such a long thing stuffed into his mouth felt a bit odd!
Alvin suddenly blushed, reached out to take the fried dough stick and bit it, finally feeling a bit more comfortable.
"Is it tasty?" Nangong Lin blinked and asked.
"Yes, tasty, especially tasty." Alvin nodded excitedly.
Nangong Lin couldn’t help but laugh, "Look at you, what a delight! Still calling yourself a prince, you’re just a country bumpkin who hasn’t even tried these delicacies."
Alvin: "..."
"Want so soy milk?" Nangong Lin looked sideways at him with his mouth full of fried dough sticks.
"Yeah." Alvin nodded vigorously, but seeing Nangong Lin handing over the soy milk, he awkwardly mumbled, "No hands left."
One hand was on the steering wheel, the other holding the fried dough stick, how could he hold a cup of soy milk?
Just as he finished speaking, he suddenly had a clever idea, leaned over directly, and took a sip from the straw of the soy milk Nangong Lin was holding.
Nangong Lin blinked, damn, this guy knows how to co up with solutions!
Nangong Lin instantly got dissatisfied, "Can’t you just park on the side and eat before driving!"
Upon hearing her words, Alvin really obediently pulled over to the side, mainly because the soy milk and fried dough sticks were so delicious.
Alvin didn’t dilly-dally either. He’s not a pig, he genuinely enjoys delicacies.
Nangong Lin saw this, raised her eyebrows slowly, and happily handed him the food bag, "Here, Prince Alvin, it’s all yours, you must finish it!"
Five fried dough sticks, two cups of soy milk, Alvin, who had already had breakfast, was stuffed like a pig, to the point where his stomach hurt.
But finishing the last bite, Alvin was still quite happy, after all, this was breakfast Nangong Lin specifically brought for him. That alone was enough to make him very happy.
