Alvin lay on the bed, his stomach burning with pain, yet his heart felt sweet and warm.
He didn’t know why, maybe it was because Nangong Lin hadn’t aggressively rejected him, giving him a glimr of hope.

John made a call, and soon Mark ca over.
Upon arriving, he imdiately scolded John, "Mr. John, don’t you know His Highness can’t overeat? What poison did you cook up for him?"
John gave Mark a sideways glance, "I didn’t poison His Highness, it was Miss Lin who poisoned him."
Mark’s eyes widened, "What poison?"
"The poison of love." John chuckled.
Mark’s eyes instantly lit up, "Really? Is Miss Lin about to beco our princess?"
"Maybe." John laughed more jubilantly, "Let’s go check on His Highness."
"Yes, yes." Mark nodded hurriedly.
He knocked on Alvin’s door, and John respectfully said, "Your Highness, Doctor Mark is here."
"Co in." Alvin’s voice sounded a bit faint.
John pushed the door open and entered, Mark followed him inside.
No words were necessary as he imdiately prepared an IV for Alvin.
Only when the dicine slowly dripped into Alvin’s veins did John finally breathe a sigh of relief.
Knowing Alvin’s temperant, Mark also refrained from saying too much and simply reminded him, "Your Highness, please don’t overeat like this again, it puts a great burden on your stomach..."
"Got it." Alvin interrupted his words of caution.
"Well then, I’ll take my leave." Mark bowed respectfully.
"Go ahead." Alvin closed his eyes, his face still sowhat pale.
John looked on with concern and quietly withdrew.
Sitting in the living room, John felt that this situation was not very reliable, and the second miss should be inford!
At least that way, she wouldn’t pressure His Highness to eat so much in the future, right?
John thought it over, felt his decision was clear, and stealthily went over to Nangong Lin’s place without telling Alvin.
Nangong Lin returned to her room, lying on the bed with nothing to do, and slyly played one of Alvin’s songs.
The one where he covered "I Will Always Love You."
Darn, she must have been out of her mind to play this.
She was dood, she must be poisoned, poisoned!
As she rolled around on the bed, the doorbell rang.
She opened the door, John stood smiling at the doorway and bowed respectfully, "Miss Lin."
