"Exactly!" Bo Chenghe quickly suggested, "There’s a river here, let’s get ready and try to fish. Maybe we can set up traps and catch sothing."
"You’ve been watching too many TV shows," scoffed one of the tall boys.
"How do you know it won’t work if you haven’t tried it?" Gu Qibao retorted.
Her question rendered him speechless. After pondering on it, the tall boy finally nodded, "Alright, I’ll go along with your plan once. But if we can’t catch any fish or find any at, I’m refusing to stay here!"
Truth be told, Gu Qibao had never tried fishing before; she didn’t even know if there were any fish in the river.
But with their situation growing dire, it was worth trying. Anything would be better than letting the others leave now.
"Alright." Gu Qibao nodded, "Let’s give it a try."
Finally, after much quarreling, they ca to a conclusion. Driven by hunger, they quickly set out to try their hand at fishing.
