Fang Hao’s culinary skills are no joke, just hearing about the barbecue makes Gu Qibao drool uncontrollably.
The Nangong Family also joined the gathering.

Grilling a leg of lamb, Di Mingjue couldn’t help but wonder why he was here barbecuing. He should be over there accompanying his wife!
As he put down the lamb leg he was cooking, Di Yan raised an eyebrow, "Can’t you be a bit more mature? Stop clinging to people all the ti."
"Then you stop clinging to my mom all the ti," retorted Di Mingjue coolly. This remark was quite fresh - if not for his wife, who else should he cling to?
Finishing his statent, he walked away with his noble and cold charm, taking with him the ready-to-eat pork chop from Di Yan’s hand, leaving Di Yan with an instant headache.
Turning towards Gu Ruhai, he complained, "Why does my son have to serve your daughter like my grandson does to his?"
Gu Ruhai lightly coughed twice, then solemnly replied, "That’s because you didn’t see the ti when my daughter used to serve your son like your grandson does to her. It’s called karma."
Looking at his own Gu Qibao now, he thought how promising she looked, truly glorious!
With a sad face, Di Yan glanced at Di Mingjue and sighed, "I understand now, sons are raised just to help other families."
Raising his cup, Gu Ruhai clinked it with his, and comforted him, "No worries, you still have two daughters."
Di Yan glanced at Di Xiaxia, who was happily playing video gas with Di Jinxuan, and then at his oldest and second son silently barbecuing by the fire. He uttered in despair, "If I had known this earlier, I would have fathered daughters only!"
Fang Hao and Qin Qian were at the other side brushing sauces.
Fang Hao looked at Di Mingzhe and Di Mingchen, and asked Qin Qian, "Qianqian, who do you think my oldest and second will barbecue for?"
"I don’t know." Qin Qian blinked, rather curious, "I an, it makes sense for your third to barbecue for Gu Qibao, but why would these two single ’dogs’ join the fray?"
Fang Hao gave an insouciant stare at her two brothers and muttered, "Hmm, I predict they will soon beco inseparable."
"Ah..." Qin Qian’s eyes widened in surprise, and after a mont’s silence, she asked, "What do you think?"
Fang Hao shrugged nonchalantly, "I would say, let nature take its course. If those two want to be together, who am I to object."
Qin Qian blinked her eyes, watching the two with long legs and handso faces sitting together in ’harmony’. Eventually, she sighed, "Actually, it’s quite nice. Now that you ntion it, these two kids were made for each other since they were young!"
