She didn’t dare waste a second. She quickly put on her shoes and turned around to run. Behind her, she heard Bo Chenghe splash into the river. Only then did she heave a sigh of relief.

Nangong Ran sprinted to the only little grocery store in the village, where the village’s only payphone was.
She couldn’t rember Di Mingjue’s phone number, so she quickly dialled Nangong Jin. Barely taking a breath, she blurted out, "Third brother, quickly inform Duke, Gu Qibao had an accident!"
"What accident?" Nangong Jin on the other end sounded alard, "Don’t panic. Speak slowly."
"Gu Qibao was pushed into the river, Bo Chenghe now went under to rescue her, but there’s no sign of them!" Nangong Ran cried out.
"Got it." Nangong Jin hung up the phone imdiately and dialed Di Mingjue’s number.
Di Mingjue was in his office at the mont, busy signing a contract. For so reason, he felt uneasy, with an unsettling sense that sothing was about to happen.
He never had such feelings before, but he felt sowhat restless at the mont, to the point that when he was signing, he pressed so hard that he almost ripped through the paper.
The man sitting across from him, a man in his fifties, couldn’t help trembling at his crackling lips, thinking, "My God, is Boss Di reconsidering the deal!"
After all, spending ten billion to buy a public university might not be the smartest move, right?

"Ranran said that Gu Qibao was pushed into the river. Bo Chenghe went to rescue her, but so far there’s no sign of them." Nangong Jin reported in one breath.
"Got it." Di Mingjue hung up the phone abruptly, stood up in an instant, his long legs kicking over a table violently.
"Mr. Di, Mr. Di." The man in his fifties was flustered and at a loss.
"The contract has been signed, prepare the paperwork to continue." Di Mingjue said coldly and shortly. An unusually cold aura enveloped his handso face.
He turned his head, his deep eyes revealing a shocking coldness. His thin lips uttered in a severe tone, "Lan Feng, prepare the jet and twenty bodyguards imdiately. Fly to the village where Gu Qibao is."
Lan Feng’s face tightened, not daring to hesitate, and nodded, "Yes."
Di Mingjue clasped his phone tightly and headed towards the office exit with powerful strides.
Raising his hand, he swiftly dialed Di Mingchen’s number on his phone.
Soon Di Mingchen answered, "Little Third?"
Di Mingjue’s hand was clenched into a fist, but his voice remained firm and cold, "Mobilize all the military aircraft you can and send as many people as you can. Get to the village where Gu Qibao is training imdiately. She had an accident, she fell into the river and is missing."
Di Mingchen was taken aback but imdiately nodded, "Okay, got it."
After hanging up the call, Di Mingjue’s steps have never been so hurried. He thought, why was he so spacey today? So, sothing really did happen!
Gu Qibao, you’d better be okay or else I will hunt you down even in hell!
Lan Feng, standing to the side, looked fearfully at Di Mingjue’s gloomy face. He had never seen Di Mingjue’s face so dark and cold. The suppressed pressure was like a millenary Antarctic ice. It seed to take all the courage one could muster rely to look at him.
"B, BOSS, what happened to Miss Qibao?" Lan Feng couldn’t refrain from asking.
