"Hey, put down, bleh..."
Gu Qibao spat out another mouthful of water.
She rolled her eyes helplessly. Damn it, had she turned into a goldfish? Spouting water every ti she opened her mouth!
Before she could speak again, an uncomfortable feeling surged from within her, and she began to vomit water again.
Okay, fine, if she was a goldfish, she was a cutely charming rmaid!
The jolting, combined with feeling dizzy and vomiting, left Gu Qibao too drained to complain.
She lay there, on the boy’s back, murmuring while vomiting water, "Hey, did you rescue ? Bleh...thanks but...bleh...put down...bleh...I need to get ho."
"Crap...stop running, I...I...I...I’m dizzy!"
"Stop! Hey, kind sir, I beg you to stop...bleh..."
Another mouthful of water, mixed with mud, sprayed from her mouth, making her small face look like an utter beggar’s.
After throwing up, she started to feel a little better, especially in her chest, which seed to ache less.
But this boy was running too fast. The jolting had left her feeble, and her head ached terribly.
"Hey." Lying on the boy’s back, she continued to vomit water and prattle on, "This isn’t appropriate, it’s not good for a man to touch a woman. I’m actually a married woman. Quickly, put down or I’ll call for help."
Although she was saying this, she truly felt powerless and completely lacked the strength to struggle.
She felt awful, like her bones were falling apart, powerless and miserable.

Finally, her ranting ended in a weak, breathless gasp, resembling a fish flipping over on land. anwhile, the boy didn’t seem to hear any of her words, which further intrigued her into thinking he might be deaf.
His scent made her feel uncomfortable. It wasn’t the familiar, crisp aroma of her Duke.
So being this close to him made her feel extrely uneasy.
Even though this person had saved her, the physical and psychological rejection was really annoying.
"Put down." After mustering up so energy, Gu Qibao started to struggle vehently and eventually fell off, almost splitting her butt in two.
Only then did Gu Qibao heave a sigh of relief, but she realized she was in a small farmhouse courtyard.
Was this rundown house worse than the one she had once been forced to live in? Was this the boy’s house?
Before she could say anything, she heard a shrill woman’s voice yelling, "You were gone for so long just to catch a fish. Why didn’t you drown in the river and save so food!"
As the woman spoke, she walked out of the house, a middle-aged woman clad in a coarse cloth dress who imdiately started verbally abusing the boy.
The mont she finished her rant, she noticed Gu Qibao sitting on the ground and froze.
Gu Qibao stared at her, a bit perplexed by the situation. Soaking wet, she was forced to cover her chest with her hands.
Bathed and embarrassed, it was the ultimate humiliation!
She forced herself to stand up despite her disheveled state, still maintaining her dignity as she protected her chest. She turned to the boy and said, "Hey, can you give a clean set of clothes? Once I’ve changed, I’ll help you out with your argunt."
This middle-aged woman was clearly not a good person!
She reminded her of the old woman who had pushed her into the water!
Respect should be given to her rescuer. Although he had taken a slight advantage of her, carrying her was definitely a better alternative to giving her mouth-to-mouth resuscitation or compressing her chest!
So, the boy was actually pretty decent.
A hero in trouble, as a cute, fairy-like maiden, shouldn’t she step up?
Even though she was vomiting like a goldfish, she couldn’t lose her dignity!
Like her Duke, she needed to show indomitable spirit, even when the sky was falling!
Be cool, domineering, and fearless!
But first, she really needed to change out of these wet clothes. How was she supposed to argue, soaked as she was? It was too embarrassing!
