Di Mingjue nodded, a faint smile appearing on his face, "Alright, then. Stay for dinner later. Uncle Zhang, let’s have a feast tonight in honor of our esteed guest."
Ergouzi’s eyes widened when he heard this, then he shafully lowered his head. He was lost for words. If he could speak, he would have expressed his underserving feelings.
Gu Qibao nodded excitedly, "That sounds great! We should also invite Nangong Ran to join us for dinner."
"Your husband had the sa thought." Di Mingjue said, stroking Gu Qibao’s head, "You can make the call."
"Sure!" Gu Qibao cheerfully went to get the phone.
Ergouzi stood off to the side, feeling awkward.
After Gu Qibao had finished the call, she saw Ergouzi and couldn’t help but say, "Husband, I’m going to show Ergouzi around."
"Ok.", Di Mingjue agreed, following her out. He had so things to deal with anyway.
Gu Qibao happily led Ergouzi around the villa, introducing him to a few things along the way.
Because Ergouzi seed as though he didn’t understand anything, she figured he must have felt very uncomfortable here.
The villa of Di Mingjue was enormous, luxurious, and divided into several areas. After touring for roughly an hour, Gu Qibao had shown Ergouzi practically everything.
Ergouzi followed Gu Qibao diligently, listening to her non-stop introduction. He began to realize how vibrant and prosperous the outer world really was.
There were so many things he had never seen before and had no idea what they were for.
He also never knew that one’s fate really could change dramatically due to a kind act.
After a long walk, the two needed a rest. In the front hall, the servants were busy preparing for the evening banquet. Gu Qibao led Ergouzi to the backyard where they sat drinking juice. She suddenly asked, "Ergouzi, how old are you?"
Ergouzi used his hands to display a number.
Gu Qibao widened her eyes, surprised to find that Ergouzi was actually a year younger than she was.
Truth be told, Gu Qibao was extrely grateful to Ergouzi, because without Ergouzi, she may not be alive and sitting there, perhaps she may have already died.
She would have never been able to enjoy such a lifestyle again, nor ever see her Mr. Di.
And perhaps Di Mingjue’s because of her death...
So, his act of saving her life equated to giving her a second chance at life. she now owes her life to Ergouzi’s rescue.
This is why she felt extrely grateful toward Ergouzi.
After thinking for a while, she said, "Ergouzi, if you don’t mind, can I regard you as my younger brother? I have six sisters at ho and no brothers. If you beco my brother, my parents would be thrilled."
Ergouzi was taken aback and quickly shook his head, refusing her request. He didn’t know why he refused, but he just did.
Gu Qibao raised an eyebrow, looked at Ergouzi seriously, then suddenly laughed, complinting, "Ergouzi, you really are sothing."
As soon as the words fell out, she frowned again. "By the way, is Ergouzi your real na? Do you have another na?"
Speaking seriously, this na was so, that she could hardly argue with it!
Ergouzi shook his head, he didn’t have any other nas. Ever since he could rember, he was living with the old man, and his na was simply Ergouzi.
Gu Qibao pouted, thinking that his na was really a disadvantage!
"Gu Xiaoqi!" It was then that Nangong Ran and Di Jinxuan arrived.
Nangong Ran rushed forward and tackled Gu Xiaoqi to the ground, "Co here, let see, whether our Aunt Xiaoqi really is alright."
As Nangong Ran spoke, his eyes reddened, and Di Jinxuan’s followed suit.
