Gu Qibao stopped in her tracks and turned, "What did you say?"

"Didn’t you hear it clearly?" Lin Wan chuckled shalessly, "Never would I have thought that the seventh Miss of the Gu Family would have no sha in toying with a wealthy man. You’re only nineteen, aren’t you? I didn’t think you’d be capable of such a thing."

"Did you say that I was toying with a wealthy man?" Gu Qibao slapped Lin Wan across her face and yelled angrily, "I’m telling you, it’s the other way around, that wealthy man is toying with !"

Lin Wan was taken aback by the slap, and after processing what happened, she shrieked, "Gu Qibao, you dare to hit !"

"Do I need your permission to hit you?" Nangong Ran arrogantly interjected, slapping Lin Wan in return.

A few of the girls were shocked. Although Gu Qibao and Nangong Ran were part of the four major families, they were never arrogant, and them starting a fight in school was a first.

"You are too arrogant! Do you think people from the four major families are so great?" Lin Wan shouted defiantly with strong stubbornness in her eyes.

Comparing oneself with others really can kill; so people just have better lives, born into the four great families, sothing handed down from their parents. How can you compare with that?

"There’s nothing special about us being from the four major families, but it is not right for you to slander others." Gu Qibao addressed Lin Wan, "Don’t say I didn’t warn you. If you dare to talk nonsense again, I’ll rip your mouth apart."

She was already feeling oppressed, and now she had to tolerate this kind of gossip? She had enough!

"Are you scared of others talking if you actually did it?" Lin Wan didn’t back down, she was simply unconvinced and felt resentful. She felt unjust every ti she rembered that Di Mingjue had a liking for Gu Qibao.

She didn’t know why, even though she had never interacted with Di Mingjue, but just that one glance was enough to make a young girl’s heart flutter. That’s why she hated Gu Qibao.

"Exactly." The won beside Lin Wan echoed, "Gu Qibao, are you scared of people talking if you actually did it?"

They were all envious, so envious. Why was Gu Qibao born into one of the four major families, and yet was also able to snatch the most precious man from the four major families?

"So, you’re provoking us today on purpose, aren’t you?" Nangong Ran asked with an icy laugh.

The group of girls suddenly beca fearful.

Lin Wan stepped forward, "If you did it, don’t be afraid of others talking, huh? Are you from the four major military aristocratic families? Are you trying to suppress freedom of speech?"

After finishing her piece, she glared at Gu Qibao, "Just you wait, I am going right now to the school board to report you, I want to see whether the school board mbers are all biased towards your four major families. How shaless of you, a gold-digger, to still study here. No wonder your grades are so poor, you spend all your ti hunting for rich n."

"Go dig your grandpa!" Furiously, Gu Qibao pounced on Lin Wan. Pinning Lin Wan beneath her, she threw her fists around at Lin Wan’s body and face.

All her pent-up frustrations seed to have found an outlet.

While she hit Lin Wan, she shouted, "I’ll tell you, it was Di Mingjue who brazenly clung on to ... I never wanted him!"

At the school board office

The representatives of the four major families sat together. Di Mingjue had not yet arrived at school. He rarely ca to school unless there were important decisions to be made.

Bo Chengye was the first to speak, "When did Gu Qibao and Di Mingjue get involved?"

He was asking Gu Yao.

"How should I know?" Gu Yao shrugged, refusing to answer.

Bo Chengye jumped up, "Isn’t Di Mingjue’s girlfriend Xinxin?"

Bo Chengxin, an adopted daughter of the Bo Family. Though adopted, their bond was strong, and as her brother, how could he tolerate this happening?

"I told you that Bo Chengxin and Di Mingjue weren’t possible, didn’t I?" Nangong Yue chid in from the side.
