With no choice, Di Xiaxia took out her phone silently and began playing a ga.
One of them was working, and the other was engrossed in a ga. Neither interfered with the other and both didn’t speak, making for an unexpectedly harmonious atmosphere.
When they arrived at the Vice Presidential Residence, Di Mingzhe lifted her from the car. Di Xiaxia had never been to the Vice Presidential Residence. Despite ntally preparing herself, she was still startled by its opulence and tight security.
As soon as Di Mingzhe exited the car, a butler garbed in tails, accompanied by two ard guards, imdiately ca forward and bowed deeply, "Sir, you have returned."
"Hmm," was Di Mingzhe’s casual response. He gave a slight nod, "This is Miss Xiaxia. From now on, she will be living here. Everything concerning her is to be treated as it would be for , no difference. We will be sharing als and accommodations together. You may make the necessary arrangents."
"Yes!" The butler gave a respectful nod without asking any further questions.
However, Di Xiaxia was sowhat surprised and couldn’t help asking, "Big... Big Brother, didn’t you say that I would live in the separate dwelling?"
The Vice Presidential Residence was huge. In addition to the main building, there must be auxiliary buildings for guests.
What did Di Mingzhe an by saying they would be living and eating together?
This was completely different from what had been agreed upon earlier, right?

Upon arriving at the bedroom, Di Xiaxia didn’t even have ti to admire its size. She was promptly escorted away by a servant for a bath, given the inconvenient state of her leg and foot.
Feeling sowhat dazed, Di Xiaxia was bathed and dressed in a freshly laundered outfit, then wrapped in one of Di Mingzhe’s oversized shirts. She was led to the bedside by the servant. Just then, she regained her senses and asked, "Where is my room?"
The servant bent over and replied politely, "Miss Xiaxia, there is only Sir’s room here. All other rooms are his studies. You should rest now."
With that, the servant gestured respectfully towards Di Mingzhe who was sitting at a desk in the distance, and then backed away.
