Di Xiaxia was confused, completely blustered by the sudden hug.
By the ti she ca to her senses, Di Mingzhe’s slender hand was holding her head, whispering question into her ear one word at a ti, "Xiaxia, are you really that scared of ?"
His warm breath unabashedly sprayed against her ear, and Di Xiaxia instantly felt like she was winded, like she was on the verge of suffocating.
"No, no I’m not." Di Xiaxia jittered once she cald down, "Big brother, you’re over-thinking it."
Now, she was forced to be held in his arms, a truly super awkward position!
Di Mingzhe didn’t say a word, his gaze focused on her intently.
"Big brother, don’t do this." Seeing him stay silent, a flustered Di Xiaxia began to squirm slightly, "Please, let go first."
Di Mingzhe released her, only to abruptly topple her over.
Di Xiaxia, terrified by his sudden movent, almost peed herself. Staring up at him in fear, she felt a welling up sensation in her nose. Her eyes reddened and she cried out nasally, "Big brother, please don’t do this."
She has never seen this side of Di Mingzhe, even his kiss that night seed less wild compared to this. In this state, she was truly afraid.
Di Mingzhe’s pupils contracted at the sight of her frightful and teary eyes, and his heart gave a sharp pang.
He lifted his hand, his slender fingers caressing her face gently and his voice softened. "Tell , why are you scared of ?"
Even though his voice was soft and pleasant, there was an underlying tone of absolute dominance that made Di Xiaxia fearful.
"I, I’m not." Di Xiaxia lowered her eyes, not daring to et his gaze. She mustered up the courage and asserted, "I’ve never been afraid of you. It’s just you who assud so."
Di Mingzhe knitted his brows, gazing fixedly at her. He finally responded with a slightly hoarse voice, "Oh, then why can’t you look at ?"
Di Xiaxia, on the verge of tears, badly wanted to say - it’s because you’re handso, okay?!
"Not true!" Di Xiaxia defiantly lifted her gaze to et his, "I’m not afraid to look you in the eyes."
"Hm." Di Mingzhe rely humd in response, a faint smile playing on his lips. He raised a hand to ruffle her hair. "Rember, you are not allowed to be scared of ."
Having said that, he released her, casually sat up, picked up the remote, and switched channels, as if nothing had transpired.
anwhile, Di Xiaxia was left in a daze, still maintaining the position she was in under him for a few seconds before finally reacting.
Imdiately, she quickly sat up, awkwardly adjusted her shirt, and nodded in agreent, "Yes, I understand."
But inside, she could not help but wonder, what on earth is Big Brothers’s strange request?
To actually ask her not to be scared of him?
Is he out of his mind?
Were she truly not scared of him, she would have told him to get out of her sight, instead of sitting here and letting him have his way with her, right?
Oh my, this is so tiring.
Di Xiaxia sat on the bed, leaning against the headboard, listlessly pulling up the quilt, and glanced up at the projection screen, nearly cursing aloud.
Who in the world watches the news at this ungodly hour?!
Di Xiaxia couldn’t help but give Di Mingzhe a side-eye, pouting, she said irritably, "Big brother, I’m going to sleep first."
