Although Gu Qibao and Nangong Ran didn’t co out unscathed, the scene was indeed one for the books.
Bo Chengye and the others rushed out of the office and gawped at the two girls.
Nangong Yue asked, "Nangong Ran, how did it co to this?"
Gu Yao asked, "Gu Xiaoqi, did you get into a fight?"
And the two of them had given their opponents a good thrashing.
Bo Chengye rubbed his forehead, "Are you two trying to cause a scene?"
"They started insulting Xiaoqi first." Nangong Ran protested while wiping her nose.
Gu Qibao bowed her head in silence, still upset and wishing she had pumled Lin Wan more.
Lin Wan was crying rivers, looking both pitiful and disheveled.
Di Mingjue lounged in his office chair, appearing quite relaxed while studying Gu Qibao’s deanor. He found her frustration amusing.
"Lift your head up." He commanded from his lofty position, voice colder than ice.
Without thinking, Gu Qibao looked up, imdiately catching sight of his extrely handso face. Considering he was the root of the problem, she couldn’t help but glare at him fiercely.
With a stern look and an air of disgust about him, Di Mingjue slapped her bottom and coldly ordered, "Straighten your back."
They had rely fought, right? They’d won and should be proud. Why appeared crestfallen?
Di Mingjue gestured, and his assistant pushed the large boss chair over.
He walked over and sat down with a decisive deanor, casting a chilling glance at those involved, "What happened, Gu Qibao, you tell ."
Gu Qibao refused to share, giving him another glare and turning her head away like a child.
"Hmph." Di Mingjue chuckled coldly, "Gu Qibao, you can’t even rat them out, why do you even bother?"
These words riled up Gu Qibao instantly.
Yes, she wasn’t as successful as he was!
Angered, she spouted, "Did you read the forum post? I was in the restroom when they ran in to insult , calling a gold-digger, shaless!"
She left out the even more outrageous parts.
"Oh?" Di Mingjue raised an eyebrow, his face chilling. He turned to look at the girls, "Gold-digger, shaless?"
Lin Wan hurriedly explained, "Those were the words in the post, we were just repeating what was said."
"Very well." Di Mingjue nodded, then pointed at Gu Qibao, "Gu Xiaoqi, co here."
"What for?" Gu Qibao was confused.
"Co here." Di Mingjue’s voice beca frostier.
Gu Qibao had no choice but to walk over.
"Sit down." Di Mingjue pointed to his lap, then turned his icy gaze and sarcastic smile on Lin Wan and the other girls, "Let show you girls how to properly cling to a rich man."
Gu Qibao’s eyes widened in surprise.
Before she could even speak, Di Mingjue pulled her into his arms, had her sit in his lap, and tightly held her against his chest.
Everyone save Nangong Ran was left wide-eyed and dumbstruck.
"What are you doing!? Di Mingjue, you brute, you son of a turtle, let go!" Gu Qibao couldn’t help but struggle and yell.
Grasping her tightly, Di Mingjue raised a cold eyebrow, arrogantly addressing Lin Wan and the others, "You see? This is how Gu Qibao clings to , and I am quite happy to let her. I won’t mind if you comnt down in the post telling everyone that if Gu Qibao dares not to cling to , I’ll break her legs."
At these words, everyone shivered. Damn, this is clinging to a rich man? It looks more like a rich man clinging onto Gu Qibao!
Lin Wan was taken aback, at a loss for words. Di Mingjue’s domineering attitude made her wish she was in Gu Qibao’s place.
