And with so much drama, he rests his head on her shoulder.

Gu Qibao shook her shoulder, "I’m hungry."

"You haven’t eaten?" Di Mingjue was surprised. It was already eight o’clock and she had not eaten yet, totally unscientific for a foodie.

"Hmm." Gu Qibao nodded and her stomach conveniently grumbled in agreent.

"Idiot." Di Mingjue looked at her dismissively, imdiately waved for the servants and ordered coldly, "Start cooking now, if you can’t finish it in ten minutes, you can get out."

The servants trembled, "Yes, young Master Mingjue."

Gu Qibao couldn’t be bothered to pay him any mind, as this fellow had not had a good temper for quite so ti and was far from cordial.

"Let see." Suddenly, he moved her face over, and began studying her eyes.

Gu Qibao was a bit embarrassed, and said, "There’s nothing to see. It’s just a bit swollen. It’s fine, it’ll be alright soon."

Di Mingjue tossed her an indifferent look and let go of her face, "Gu Qibao, you are truly ugly."

Gu Qibao: "..."

Despite his an words, he actually went to the refrigerator himself to get so ice from the liquor cabinet, and instructed the servants to get a gauze, which he then wrapped the ice in.

Gu Qibao couldn’t help but ask, "What are you doing?"

"Co here." He reached out his long arm and pulled her into his arms, "Close your eyes."

Gu Qibao was stunned. Was he about to ice her eyes?

Though surprised, Gu Qibao obediently closed her eyes.

As soon as she closed her eyes, Di Mingjue smiled, his sexy lips curving into a sweet arc.

"How silly." He gently massaged her eye while teasing her, "You’re ugly enough as it is and yet you cry until you look like this. There are many ways to vent your anger. Don’t you know that?"

Gu Qibao pouted, "If you’re going to put it on, put it on. Don’t babble on and on."

Di Mingjue’s face turned cold. She’s such an irritating brat, always trying to act cute!

The cold ice was stimulating to the skin around her eyes, and the pain seed to lessen significantly.

Gu Qibao’s heart also seed to have cald down a lot.

"Is the food ready yet, I’m starving." Having recovered, her tone was also a bit more lively.

"It’ll be ready soon." Di Mingjue took the ice off and gave her a scrutinizing look, "Let’s eat first, we can ice it again later."

Gu Qibao opened her eyes, and his handso face was right in front of her. Although it was still expressionless and cold, it was not scary at all.

Gu Qibao suddenly realized that Di Mingjue was, damn it, very handso!

"I know you’re entranced by , but there’s no need to drool over ." Di Mingjue pinched her face, and with a swift motion, he carried her into the dining room and set her on the chair.

The food from the kitchen was ready as well. Luckily, the chef was always on standby. There were quite a number of people, well-trained, and able to whip up simple dishes in ten minutes.

Di Mingjue frowned, seemingly a little dissatisfied, he discontentedly said, "Is that all?"

Gu Qibao was almost starving to death, so she hurriedly said, "It’s okay, I’ll make do with this first."

With that, she was about to jump off Di Mingjue.

Di Mingjue wrapped his arm around her, "Stay and eat on my lap."

Gu Qibao: "..."

Whatever, she couldn’t be bothered with him anymore. She was really hungry.

After devouring her al, Gu Qibao finally felt relieved and perked up a bit.

After wiping her mouth, she suddenly beca sowhat shy, and said to Di Mingjue, "Well, I should go ho now, thank you."

Di Mingjue was montarily taken aback. She thanked him?

Gu Qibao had already hopped off him, waved carefully, and then walked away.
