"No!" A thrilled Nangong Ran shook his head, "Let tell you, Gu Xiaoqi, Mingjue is now my idol. You have to be nicer to him in the future, got it?"
After saying that, Nangong Ran waved his little fist, "Don’t be so fierce, be gentle with him, alright?"
Gu Qibao thought she was going mad.
Looking at Nangong Ran in disbelief, it took her a while to choke out a sentence, "Nangong Ran, you aren’t possibly...falling for Di Mingjue, are you?"
After she finished speaking, she grabbed Nangong Ran’s hand, "If you like him, I’ll back off."
Nangong Ran was so annoyed he almost slapped her. Why is Gu Qibao always so clueless?
"Of course I like him." Nangong Ran shook his head, looking incredibly smug,
"Really?" Gu Qibao’s eyes widened instantly, but she didn’t know why her heart was racing so fast.
Is she happy because she’s going to be free from Di Mingjue?
She hurriedly said, "Then I’ll tell him for you. If you two end up together, I’ll be all for it."
"Are you an idiot!" Nangong Ran glared at her, "The liking I ntioned is not the sa as you’re thinking. I just think Di Mingjue is a nice guy and he’s pretty good to you, stop being so dramatic."
After gazing at Nangong Ran for a while, Gu Qibao blurted out, "You’re a loony."
Nangong Ran wanted to hit her. She turned her face away, opened the window, blinked and felt this situation was a bit surreal.
Nangong Ran, who was always terrified of Di Mingjue--even more scared than her, now suddenly seed to side with Di Mingjue.

Did Nangong Ran really begin to like Di Mingjue?
Gu Qibao was shocked by her own thought.
She sneakily glanced at Nangong Ran, who looked so joyful and excited, and couldn’t help but frown.
If Nangong Ran did not have a crush on Di Mingjue, then he’s going mad. He actually praised Di Mingjue and asked her to be gentler with him?
Why the hell should she be gentler to that brute? And Nangong Ran was oblivious of how terrible Mingjue treated her.
Always easier said than done.
Once they reached Di Mingjue’s company, Gu Qibao stood under the grand corporate building for quite a while. Why would Nangong Ran bring her to Di Mingjue’s company?
She couldn’t help but ask Nangong Ran, "Why are we here?"
"To watch the fun." With a blink, Nangong Ran pulled her along into the building.
Gu Qibao couldn’t help but wonder, what exciting thing could possibly happen here? Sothing that would excite Nangong Ran?
Could it be that Di Mingjue had an affair with a female secretary or soone, and Nangong Ran brought her to catch them in the act?
Other than that, she could not think of any other excitent.
Then she got excited instantly and eagerly followed Nangong Ran in.
By the ti they reached the president’s office, Nangong Ran needed to use the restroom. He asked if Gu Qibao would go with him. After thinking for a while, with a smug smile on her face, Gu Qibao refused.
When Nangong Ran went to the restroom, Gu Qibao sneaked into the office alone.
The front door of the president’s office was tightly closed, and only a few of Di Mingjue’s secretaries were sitting outside.
They all knew Gu Qibao quite well. Seeing her co in, they all stood up to greet her, "Miss Qibao."
Gu Qibao nodded, grinning to greet them.
Head Secretary Chen i asked, "Miss Qibao, you’re here to see the President? The President is in...."
"No, no, no." Gu Qibao waved her hand quickly to interrupt Chen i, cunningly grinned, "Not so fast, I’ll hang around here. Nangong Ran has gone to the restroom, I’ll wait for him."
"Alright then." Chen i nodded, "What would you like to drink? I’ll have soone prepare it for you."
