The football field was lively with energy, the air filled with the sounds of cheering, shouting, and the rhythmic thudding of the ball against the turf. The afternoon sun hung overhead, casting long shadows across the field, but the players remained relentless, completely absorbed in the ga.
Liam and Dickson made their way to the stands, moving discreetly through the scattered groups of students until they found an empty spot to sit. Their presence went unnoticed—not because they were invisible, but because no one cared.
Everyone's focus was on the ga.
Or, more specifically, on Jack.
"JACK, WE LOVE YOU!"
A group of girls near the front row scread at the top of their lungs, practically foaming at the mouth as they watched the star player dominate the ga. Every ti he touched the ball, they squealed, their excitent only growing louder each ti he made a play.
Liam stared at them for a mont before letting out a low snort.
"Pussies."
Dickson chuckled beside him but didn't say anything.
Just then, from the right side of the stands, a girl began walking in their direction—not towards them, but simply trying to pass through. She had long dark hair, fair skin, and an effortless elegance to her steps. In her hand, she held a cup of steaming hot coffee, her attention completely absorbed by the phone she was busily tapping on.
Liam's eyes flickered toward her for a mont, but before he could say anything, Dickson suddenly leaned in and whispered.
"Dude, just ignore her."
Liam raised an eyebrow. "Why?"
Dickson sighed and shook his head. "Because Kyle has been trying to get with her for weeks. He hasn't been successful, and he's already pissed off about it. If he catches another guy even looking at her, let alone talking to her, he's gonna lose his shit."
Liam didn't respond at first. Instead, he smiled.
A slow, almost mischievous smile that imdiately made Dickson's stomach drop.
"Oh no," Dickson muttered under his breath.
He had seen that look before. It was the sa look Liam had earlier when he decided to march straight into the football field, despite his torntors being there. The sa look he had when he walked into class after vanishing for a week—the look of soone about to do sothing incredibly stupid.
"Liam," Dickson whispered urgently. "I swear to God, don't do whatever you're thinking right now."
But Liam wasn't listening anymore.
With a casual flick of his wrist, he reached over and—in one swift motion—pulled the tie off of Dickson's chest.
Dickson froze. "What the—"
"Shut up and watch," Liam murmured, his voice low and entertained.
Dickson barely had ti to react before Liam moved.
The girl was still approaching, still distracted by her phone, and Liam tid his movent perfectly. Just as she was about to pass by, he subtly looped the tie around her foot, giving the slightest tug—so slight that she didn't even notice.
Her foot hooked.
She stumbled.
And in the next mont, she fell—
Right into Liam's lap.
The impact was soft but firm, and Liam imdiately felt it—the gentle pressure of her curves against him. Her full breast pressed lightly against his torso, and her round ass ground slightly against his lap. Through his clothes, he could feel every single detail of her shape.
For a brief mont, everything froze.
Liam could sll her perfu—a mix of vanilla and jasmine. She was beautiful up close, even more than he had expected. No wonder Kyle was chasing after her.
And then—
A burning pain erupted across his stomach.
Liam's eyes widened.
The girl's coffee.
It had spilled all over him.
The heat seeped through his shirt, the burning sensation imdiately spreading across his skin. It was hot as hell.
"Shit!" Liam hissed under his breath, his body tensing as the pain registered fully.
The girl gasped loudly as she realized what had happened.
"Oh my God!" she blurted out, eyes widening in horror. "I—I'm so sorry!"
Her panic was loud, and the sudden outburst imdiately caught the attention of the students nearby. Heads began turning, murmurs spreading across the crowd.
And then—
From the football field, Kyle saw everything.
His eyes locked onto the scene unfolding in the stands.
His **crush—**the girl he had been chasing for weeks—was currently sitting on so guy's lap.
For a second, his brain didn't register it properly. But then, as if in slow motion, he saw it—
Liam's hands.
Firmly wrapped around her waist.
Holding her.
Kyle's vision turned red.
Liam, despite the burning pain in his stomach, didn't miss the way Kyle's entire expression darkened from across the field. Even from this distance, he could see the rage brewing in his eyes.
And yet...
Instead of letting go, Liam tightened his hold slightly.
Pretending to support her.
His lips curled into a small, smug smile.
Dickson, who had been watching everything from the side, slapped a hand over his mouth to keep himself from screaming.
"This bitch."
