Luis enjoyed the feeling of being the absolute head of the household. Looking at his mother-in-law and his aunt's expectant eyes, a sense of vain pride welled up from within.
Luis clinked glasses with them and asked, "Sure, has Minda been helping out lately?"
"Yes, she's very eager, coming twice a day. Her own daughter isn't even that filial."
Talking about this, Ruth felt especially proud. She took a big gulp of wine and said, "When we wanted to change the circuit, she imdiately called the property managent's electrician over, and she even had them check all our pipes and wires."
Luis found it both amusing and exasperating, thinking, 'What are you so happy about? You're the big boss of the property managent company. You're just used to living a poor life and haven't adapted yet.'
Luis didn't do anything rash. He started listening to their business plan, showing great seriousness and respect, which helped them relax considerably.
However, they were clearly very tired, yawning nonstop after drinking. Especially his aunt, Eloise, who was used to going to bed early and waking up early, was starting to doze off a bit.

He was a local, long-ti gangster, a real tough guy who had been in and out of prison multiple tis. Now he was an old bachelor, but still quite promiscuous. He had even pursued Ruth before and got severely scolded for it.
Most importantly, he was the original owner of that teahouse. There were rumors back then that the teahouse Aunt Kiara funded was because Black Dog was her lover.
That guy was a total local bully, very well-connected around here. He had verbally harassed quite a few of the attractive young wives in the neighborhood.
"It's him!" Upon hearing this, Ruth gritted her teeth in anger. "Ever since I fell out with Kiara, this bastard has been causing trouble. He was never any good to begin with. What's the aning of him renting this place now?"
"Sis, are you okay?" Eloise asked, a little worried, knowing this guy was deliberately here to cause trouble.
The sisters spoke angrily, but then, almost simultaneously, they both looked at Luis. That look, as if seeking a sense of security, was sothing no man could refuse.
"This dumbass!!"
The door was tightly shut, and it wasn't convenient to call the landlord over to open it. Luis simply had the property managent pull the circuit breaker on his apartnt. The house instantly fell silent.

She had absolutely no concept of soone at Leok's level, didn't think much of it at all, and wasn't worried about anything happening with him.
But on the other hand, Black Dog's bad reputation preceded him. He was just a small-ti thug, yet his mother-in-law was a bit worried about him. It was like the saying: it's easier to deal with the King of Hell than his little minions.
"Mom, I was thinking of sleeping here tonight. Is that okay?"
Luis suddenly said this, and both Ruth and Eloise were stunned, their pretty faces flushing bright red. They had actually been incredibly tired and sleepy just monts ago, but this shock jolted them wide awake, banishing all drowsiness.
Ruth's voice trembled slightly. "It would be very troubleso if Lily woke up."
Ultimately, she still felt a bit constrained at ho, also worried about being caught in the act. This kind of ntality was unavoidable.
