"Alpha Darius doesn’t take visitors without appointnts," one of them said.
"Then call the pack house and tell him Victor is here." I kept my voice calm. "He’ll want to see ."
The sentinel looked skeptical but pulled out a landline and made the call.
A few minutes later, a car pulled up and a man got out, clearly a Beta by the way he carried himself with authority.
"I’m Beta Garrett." He walked over to my window. "Alpha Darius says he has no interest in seeing you and you need to leave Stormshadow territory imdiately."
I smiled. "Tell your Alpha that if he doesn’t give an audience right now, I’ll let every pack in the region know that he killed his own father to take the throne."
Beta Garrett’s face went completely pale, all the blood draining from it in an instant.

"How do you—" he started, his voice shaking.

Garrett didn’t know it was a lie, and the pure terror on his face told everything I needed to know.

We stopped outside a large oak door and Garrett knocked once.
"Co in," Darius’s voice called from inside.
Garrett opened the door and stepped aside to let enter.
I walked in casually, hands in my pockets, completely at ease like I owned the place.
"Hello, Alpha Darius." I smiled widely.
Darius was sitting behind his massive desk and his face went from confused to furious in an instant.
He stood up so fast his chair flew backward and hit the wall. "What fucking nerve do you have coming to my pack, you traitorous piece of shit?"
I closed the door behind and leaned against it casually. "We need to talk, you murdering bastard."
His furious expression lted slightly, his face going pale, his hands clenching into fists on the desk hard enough that his knuckles went white.
