Kingsley appeared upon the peak of a ridiculously collosal mountain. Unlike the others, his training didn’t truly require closed-door seclusion, yet he had entered one anyway. He didn’t cultivate mana or any other form of energy, so there was no Apexus Mana Rank for him to breakthrough into. His closed-door seclusion had simply revolved around increasing his mastery and control over the Martial Rhythm which Anthony had taught him by forcing his body to adapt continuously to the pain and attacks unleashed by him using the Martial Rhythm.

And Kingsley had to admit, the more he learned and increased his control over this particular ability, the more he wondered how Anthony had even managed to co into contact with it in the first place. It would’ve made far more sense if he, Kingsley, had been the one to encounter such an ability. After all, the condition required to awaken it was that one had to exist in absolute zero contact with any form of energy, which was practically impossible considering everyone on the Blue Planet literally possessed mana within their bodies.

Kingsley shook his head lightly as he decided to stop thinking about it. Unlike Aura Nova, Lucian, and Aaaninja, he didn’t bother wasting ti overthinking too many things. His senses picked up enemies, so he simply reacted to their presence instinctively. His golden eyes tore forward as he spotted millions of weak-looking Demons rushing toward him in endless waves.

Kingsley imdiately tore his gaze away from them as though he couldn’t even be bothered acknowledging their existence. Instead, his eyes searched for enemies nearby who could at least match him in combat, but he found none. Everyone seed far too occupied fighting soone else, or rather ganging up against people in overwhelming numbers.

Kingsley stood silently for a mont before ultimately deciding to simply find a strong opponent himself after dealing with the Demons currently rushing up the mountain. With that thought settled firmly in his mind, his attention shifted fully toward the enemies before him just as the first wave reached the peak of the mountain.

The first Demon closed in while cracking a whip that lashed violently toward Kingsley. But Kingsley had already read the flow of the attack before the Demon had even fully made his move. He simply tilted his head slightly to the side, the attack whipping through the air and narrowly past his face. With a sharp cracking sound, the whip instead landed upon another Demon behind Kingsley who had just been about to attack. The unfortunate Demon’s head exploded apart instantly as he died by the hands of his own comrade.

Kingsley’s hand moved casually, the back of his palm colliding against the first Demon’s face in what appeared to be nothing more than a simple slap. Yet with just that casual motion alone, the entire upper torso of the Demon was completely pulverized, so thoroughly destroyed that not even blood or flesh splattered into the surrounding air.

But the other Demons didn’t stop. They rely continued rushing forward endlessly. Although Kingsley had referred to them as weak, every single one of them was rely one or two ranks below the Apexus Mana Rank. Only monsters like Kingsley would dare describe such beings as weaklings.

[Curse Magic: Curse Of Endless Pain]

One of the Demons hidden among the millions imdiately cast the spell, the curse slamming directly into Kingsley without resistance.

Kingsley felt it imdiately.

A curse wasn’t exactly the sort of attack Kingsley could dodge physically, but he didn’t need to. His absurd physique granted him near complete immunity against such pathetic tricks. Besides, even beyond that, the Martial Rhythm itself granted immunity against negative debuffs, an ability he had awakened after his proficiency crossed a certain threshold.

Kingsley’s body vanished in a blur as he appeared directly before the Demon who had just used Curse Magic. His fingers shot forward, and like bullets piercing through paper, they tore through the Demon’s chest with horrifying ease. Then, with an indifferent expression resting upon his face, Kingsley pulled out the Demon’s still-beating heart, stared at it silently for a brief mont, and crushed it effortlessly.

Within that sa split second, thousands of long-range magical attacks infused with countless different elents erupted throughout the air, all racing toward Kingsley’s position simultaneously.

But Kingsley rely raised one hand calmly before waving it through the space before him, and with that motion alone, space itself rotated like a gigantic wheel.

The mont Kingsley repositioned space itself, the attacks completely missed him before instead collapsing directly into the Demons charging toward him from behind.

Screams echoed violently across the mountain while cries of death rang endlessly throughout the air as their own attacks erased countless comrades instantly. Corpses piled across the mountain path while the scent of burning flesh mixed with the heavy iron sll of blood polluted the atmosphere.

Yet none of it bothered Kingsley in the slightest.

He simply walked calmly back toward the peak of the mountain where he had originally stood, the explosions from every magical attack booming endlessly within his ears.

Shadow Dancer

Another Demon’s voice echoed throughout the mountain.

The next mont, Kingsley’s footsteps halted as his eyes slowly lowered toward his own shadow. It imdiately began squirming unnaturally as though it had suddenly beco alive. Then, before his eyes, it rose upward from the ground into an upright humanoid figure that stared directly toward Kingsley while entering his exact Martial stance flawlessly.

Shadow Dancer was an ability awakened by one of the Demons that allowed him to summon the living shadows of his enemies.

While Kingsley was admittedly impressed by the uniqueness of the ability, it was ultimately futile against him.

He simply continued walking forward casually without even entering a Martial stance unlike the shadow before him. The mont he entered its range, the Shadow moved instantly with terrifying timing and efficiency, perfectly mirroring Kingsley’s own absurd Martial Ability.

But before the Shadow’s attack could even properly land, it exploded backward violently, its entire body bursting into thousands of shattered shadow fragnts.

Kingsley imdiately felt his shadow reconnect seamlessly with his body, and with that, he continued walking once more.

Any direct physical attack sent toward him was simply erased, together with the attacker out of existence through minimal movent and effortless precision. As for long-range spells and abilities, Kingsley rely repositioned space itself as though it were nothing more than a toy existing for his personal amusent.

Although he had already decided to seek out a strong opponent after dealing with the weaklings actively bothering him, he wasn’t interested in entertaining these Demons any longer. So he naturally chose the laziest possible approach toward the entire situation.

Thus, while Aaaninja, Lucian, and Aura Nova were all fighting intensely and working endlessly, Kingsley Sky simply sat back and enjoyed himself as though he weren’t even part of the battlefield at all.

Besides, he was absolutely certain that sooner or later, an enemy worthy enough would eventually find him before he even needed to actively search for one himself.

That was simply how Angels and Demons behaved.
