Anthony floated calmly as he stared at the Demon King, who stared back at him with a frown on his face. He had already killed God seconds ago, leaving only the Demon King remaining, and this battle would be over. The vast void around them remained silent, as though existence itself was waiting for the conclusion of their clash.
The Demon King entered a martial stance, his body covered in Martial Intent.
Anthony smirked as Martial Rhythm humd around him, his presence sharpening and becoming more dangerous than earlier. The Demon King’s frown deepened as he grew confused, wondering what the energy surrounding Anthony was. Despite his vast experience and countless years of existence, he couldn’t identify it.
The next instant, both Anthony and the Demon King vanished from where they stood. The mont they appeared above a star, they punched toward each other’s heads. The instant the two fists t, the Demon King imdiately felt his entire hand break and burst into pieces of flesh and blood.
He imdiately vanished from where he stood as he tried to put distance between himself and Anthony. But Anthony was already there. He had read the Demon King like a child and followed his movent, unleashing a devastating punch into the Demon King’s ribs.
The Demon King felt his ribs and organs tear apart, pain flooding his brain at that mont. He couldn’t understand how Anthony was reading him to this level. Every action he took seed to have already been anticipated. But his confusion didn’t slow his movents. His four hands imdiately attacked four different spots on Anthony’s body.
But Anthony was already gone. He appeared behind the Demon King’s body, his fists blurring forward like projections as he unleashed a storm of Martial Rhythm attacks upon the Demon King.
But the Demon King didn’t tank them this ti. Instead, he tapped into one of his abilities and imdiately vanished from where he stood as he teleported away. But Anthony had already read the evasion, his Mind Calculation ability already predicting this mont. He also vanished from where he stood and appeared before the Demon King. A Hypernova appeared in his hand, brimming with power and danger, and without even hesitating for a split second, Anthony slamd it into the Demon King’s chest.
The Demon King’s senses scread danger and death. The man imdiately tapped into his Temporal Control as he moved himself across the Tiline, vanishing from that mont in ti.
But Anthony had already anticipated it. With a wide grin on his face, he simply reversed ti, forcefully undoing what the Demon King had done.
Unlike Anthony, Aaaninja, and the First Supre Monarch, who possessed a natural affinity for Ti, the Demon King didn’t. But with an existence spanning over a billion years, he had obviously found ways that allowed him to manipulate Ti to a certain extent. It was just like how the Rank 1 Demon Monarch had forcefully tried to harness and manipulate ti for himself by using his Sword Intent to forcibly manipulate the ambient temporal particles.
The attack slamd point-blank into the Demon King’s body, a titanic explosion swallowing everything within a couple of light-years. Pure dazzling white light, mana, Star Energy, and supernova energy spread outward, destroying everything in their path. Solar systems fell, constellations collapsed, and a portion of the Acarnis Galaxy was torn away by that single attack.
The cosmic smoke cleared as the Demon King’s body ca into view. A huge portion of his body had been blown off, but clearly that attack wasn’t enough to kill him in one blow... or rather, it was, but the Demon King had mitigated the damage within the barest fraction of ti he had available. The man had layered himself in Chaos Energy at the last possible mont.
The Demon King’s regeneration ability imdiately kicked in as flesh knitted back together and his arms regenerated, new ones growing in their place.
Without missing a beat, he transitioned into another skill. Chaos Energy flooded his eyes as the flow of ti around him seed to beco unsteady. At this mont, the Demon King had activated a skill that allowed him to see into the future for a couple of seconds. Although it wasn’t as overpowered as Aaaninja’s or even as perfected, he needed this incomplete ability in order to keep up with Anthony.
’What!!!’ the Demon King thought to himself in total disbelief. He had activated an ability that placed a great burden on his brain and physique, yet at this mont, Anthony had already appeared beside him as though the Concept of Distance no longer mattered. What shocked him the most was that he hadn’t seen Anthony move at all, even with this ability to see into the future.
But Anthony didn’t share his surprise. To Anthony, the ability to look into his future was simply useless, as he could personally influence such a skill and feed the user false information through The Perfect One skill if he wanted to. But at this mont, Anthony only rendered the skill unable to read him, and that was all.
Without missing a beat, Anthony sent an uppercut into the Demon King’s jaw with perfect accuracy, his Martial Rhythm humming. With a booming blast, the attack connected. Half of the Demon King’s face was instantly blown off as black blood and brain matter sprayed into the air.
The Demon King imdiately created clones and vanished through ripples of reality he had created as he moved to heal himself. But the Martial Rhythm wasn’t so easily deceived. Anthony appeared within one of the ripples in reality and sent out another attack with even greater intensity.
But the Demon King simply opened a Black Hole between himself and Anthony, then teleported away. Anthony’s fist imdiately crashed against the Black Hole, instantly crumbling it where it had been created.
The Demon King appeared high above within the Void of the Acarnis Galaxy as his mind spun.
’What is that power?’ he thought to himself as he could tell Anthony’s destructive ability had skyrocketed because of it. He couldn’t understand it. He had personally mastered all forms of Intent, abilities, and elents, and this was the first ti he was witnessing sothing as outrageous as this. The unknown nature of Martial Rhythm unsettled him more than he cared to admit.
Anthony appeared within the Void, his movents unhurried. He stared at the Demon King with an expressionless face. The fight was coming to an end; they could both feel it. It was do or die.
The Demon King imdiately pulled out a white strand of hair, sothing he had taken from Anthony, as he imdiately activated a technique he had created.
[Cursed Technique: Soul Resonance: Death Reflection]
As a Demon King, it was only natural that he possessed soul techniques. He used Anthony’s hair as a point of contact and imdiately reflected death upon him.
Anthony felt it in real ti. He felt sothing slam into his soul with point-blank force, trying to usurp and end him on the spot. But Anthony was no pushover. Just because he relied on Romulus and the OP System for the protection of his soul didn’t an he possessed no ans of protecting his own soul or attacking with it.
