Chapter 570: The Cleansing
As Anthony heard the three Warlords’ words, his mind paused. ‘The First Supre… Could he be planning sothing?’ Anthony thought.
His mind spun rapidly as he ran various scenarios through his thoughts, trying to decipher any hidden agenda within the mission. But he ca up blank. When he had first t the League of Supres, he could sense their emotions clearly.
None of them hated him or even had any emotion toward him. They simply didn’t care about him. But that was at the beginning. As things progressed, Anthony began to sense faint emotional fluctuations from them. Still, none of them had anything personal against him, at least, nothing he could detect.
‘Unless they are all good at using false emotions as a cover…’ Anthony thought, his mind running at the pace of a supercomputer at this mont.
‘Wait…’ Anthony’s thoughts paused montarily, then continued. ‘The Second Supre…’
When he had cut off the Second Supre Monarch’s arm, Anthony sensed only pure shock from all the Supre Monarchs present. Only the Second Supre had displayed anything close to hatred, no, it wasn’t just hatred. It was a deep, seething anger that pulsed through his veins like molten blood.
‘He had even attacked on the spot in front of my parents. Now that they aren’t here, what would he do? He wouldn’t dare make a move within the military, since if the Vampires act rashly, the other Supre Monarchs would instantly find out. But outside the military? That’s a totally different matter…’ Anthony thought, eyes narrowing ever so slightly.
‘Did the Second Supre Monarch issue the mission through the First Supre Monarch as a cover for whatever he’s planning? Or did the First Supre genuinely issue this mission, and the Second Supre is simply taking advantage of the opportunity?’ Anthony wondered, uncertainty swirling in his mind.
His thoughts suddenly spun to an ani he had watched in his past life. ‘This is a classic case of Hiruzen and Danzo from the ani Naruto,’ he recalled, the comparison drawing a cold realization in his heart.
Anthony simply stood still, his thoughts accelerating and spinning at full throttle. ‘It seems the Second Supre Monarch is going to use this mission to bury . Maybe the First Supre Monarch knows but says nothing out of friendship with the Second Supre.’ Anthony thought, his internal monologue sharpening like a blade.
‘Well, it doesn’t matter. Nothing they try will work. I will find out everything once I leave the military base,’ Anthony concluded with quiet thoughts.
The plan didn’t matter to him anymore. All sches, no matter how intricate, would bow before absolute force. Whatever trap or treachery they had planned was ultimately futile.
No cold light flashed through Anthony’s eyes, no killing intent leaked from his body. No anger, no fury, simply nothing. He remained ever so composed and calm, as though their so-called plans were nothing more than feeble scratches from mortals against a god.
Why should he have any emotional reaction toward those he was going to end? Strangely enough, Anthony even looked forward to the mont, yet his facial expression remained composed.
His eyes gazed down on the file once more. Although he already knew its contents, he still looked at it with the eyes of soone analyzing everything again.

[Mission Location: Blue Planet; the Abandoned Desert of Ruins, a vast desert stretching for millions of kiloters, dotted with colossal stone pillars numbering in the millions and reaching toward the skies like forgotten guardians.]
[Mission Objective:
The headquarters of the Forsaken Cult on the Blue Planet have been discovered. Lead your team to the mission location and open a portal to serve as a direct path to the Forsaken Cult’s headquarters.]
This mission was a declaration of war against the Forsaken Cult, an organization that had plagued the Blue Planet for millions of years. Anthony didn’t know how their headquarters had been found, and frankly, he couldn’t care less about that at the mont. He read between the lines.
“The headquarters of the Forsaken Cult on the Blue Planet have been discovered.” He repeated the words ntally. ‘Does that an they have another headquarters on a different planet?’ he questioned inwardly.
Since the military couldn’t afford to mobilize a large-scale deploynt of military aircraft without alerting the Forsaken Cult, Anthony’s team was instead tasked with heading to the location, opening a portal, and letting the army through.
‘Simple enough,’ Anthony thought.
His mind drifted briefly to the ti the Forsaken Cult had actually sent an assassin after him. That had been his first battle against a Paragon ranked enemy. A bloody, vicious encounter.
‘Another bloodshed… I guess Vega would love this, after all, this is a major event,’ he mused.
Seeing Anthony’s prolonged silence, Warlord Aerenya sighed softly and spoke, “Even our Supre Monarch approved this. After all, the mission wouldn’t have reached us without going through her. And even if it did, we wouldn’t dare hand it over to you without her approval.”
“I’ll take the mission then,” Anthony replied, as though he had accepted it rely because his mother’s na had been ntioned.
“As stated in the mission file,” Warlord Raelith began, his tone calm, “when you arrive at the Abandoned Desert of Ruins, you are required to open a portal through which our soldiers can pass through to the battlefield.”
“So, we’re basically using the sa thod the demons used against us to destroy Military Base Alpha-6… but this ti against the Forsaken Cult,” Anthony said, raising an eyebrow slightly.
The Warlords didn’t bother denying it.
“Indeed, we are,” Warlord Aerenya responded with a calm smile. “Just because demons used a particular tactic doesn’t an we can’t employ it ourselves.”
Anthony nodded in acknowledgnt, then asked, “What about their base on another planet?”
“It seems you’re smarter than we thought,” Warlord Brontagar’s voice rumbled through the air.
Anthony’s gaze shifted to the Titan, but he said nothing. A Titan saying such words felt like an insult, but he chose not to speak on it.
“Their headquarters on a different planet will be handled by the Supre Monarch herself,” Warlord Aerenya replied, her expression tightening into a frown. “That’s because the leader of the Forsaken Cult possesses power equal to that of a Supre Monarch.”
