"Hey, why don’t you two stay with us?" Tiffany suddenly suggested, her voice warm and hospitable. "You wouldn’t be able to sleep comfortably at Alex’s place. It’s too small for three people."
"Yeah, honey, why not?" David agreed, looking at my cousins. "You girls can stay with Brittany in her room. We have plenty of space."
Tiffany’s smile was polite, but I could see the subtle calculation behind her eyes, she wanted my cousins out of my apartnt and under her roof, where she could keep an eye on things.
