’Stunning.’
That was the only word that ca to Marcus’s mind when Lily stepped forward in the Skeleton Set.
The armor did not make her look grim or creepy as he had briefly feared. Instead, it wrapped around her with an almost haunting elegance. The dark tones contrasted with her soft complexion, and the subtle lines of the set traced her figure in a way that was refined rather than bold. Her usual quiet warmth now carried a faint edge of mystery, as though she were a spell half-whispered in the dark.
She did not look frightening, she looked captivating.
Dominion’s design truly was sothing else. Equipnt did not simply sit on a character model like stiff plating. It adapted. It responded to posture, temperant, even presence. The sa set could look entirely different depending on who wore it. On Lily, the Skeleton Set felt less like armor taken from a dungeon and more like sothing crafted specifically for her.
Marcus exhaled slowly. He should have broken down that door.
The regret struck him with embarrassing clarity. Whatever mont he had missed while she changed, it was gone now. A once-in-a-lifeti opportunity, vanished because he hesitated.
"Marcus, hurry up and show us your stats!" Amber said, practically bouncing in place. "We want to see everything."
’Alright’, he thought, suppressing a grin. ’Let’s see how ridiculous this looks altogether.’
He opened his character panel.

Marcus stared at the numbers.
’Damn.’
The Cabaro’s Set was outrageous. And that was without the greataxe completing it.
’If I’d known about Dual Weapon Mastery earlier...’
He felt a flicker of regret. At level 30, he had unlocked Dual Weapon Mastery, allowing him to use two-handed weapons effectively. If he had anticipated that, he never would have sold Cabaro’s Greataxe. Seeing the full set bonuses in action would have been satisfying.
Still, it was not a crippling loss. The Adamant Shield forced him into a one-handed setup anyway, and his Bat Dragon Cloud Sword was leagues beyond the greataxe.
He scrolled down.

Even after wearing it for only a few minutes, the numbers still felt unreal.

It was almost irritating how good it was.
The only thing bothering him was the Dreamland Gems. He had socketed only four. Back in Newbie Village he had thought they were common. Now he knew better. Even with his farming speed, they were painfully rare.
He continued scrolling.
The Fluffy Rabbit’s Mask boosting agility and allowing in-combat teleport.
The Shadow Cloak granting dodge, speed, and a chance at physical immunity.
The Ring of Resurrection removing death penalties once per day.
The Ring of Greed multiplying storage space.
The Horseshoe Ring adding raw stats and stun chance.
Even the Explorer’s dallion quietly stacking small bonuses across the board.
And then the skills.
One-Handed Mastery.
Shield Mastery.
Dual Weapon Mastery.
Hundred Phantom Strike.
Triple Surge.
Sanctuary Covenant.
The Ascendant’s Domain.
He paused on that last one.
A skill that reduced enemy attributes by 10 percent while boosting his own by 10 percent. A five percent instant kill chance layered on top. Even now, reading it in plain text felt absurd.
After the system update, so weaker abilities had been trimd away. What remained were his core ones. Everything on his panel served a specific purpose.
He scrolled to the bottom.

Amber stared at the panel as if it might rearrange itself into sothing more reasonable.
"Marcus... are you secretly related to Dragonfly Corp or sothing?" she said slowly. "With stats like these, how is anyone else supposed to play?"
Lily did not speak, but her eyes were wide, silently recalculating everything she thought she knew about the ga’s balance.
Marcus chuckled.
"You of all people should know the answer to that."
It was not corporate favoritism. He had grinded like crazy, taken big risks and dived into fights most players would avoid.
Still, even he had to admit it looked excessive laid out like this. His defense and health, already a knight’s strengths, were towering. Yet his attack power rivaled dedicated damage dealers. His speed and dodge were high enough to embarrass lighter classes.
At this point, if a hundred players decided to surround him for a PK attempt, they would have to think very carefully before making that first move.
And if they miscalculated even slightly...
The battlefield earlier today had already shown what that mistake would cost.
